...down our Christian throats? Every Christian post is inundated with non-believer hate and disagreement. One cannot even ask fellow Christians a question without having to siffen through the unbeliever garbage.

Check out my post about contradictions in the Bible. I put it up for a vote and the nonbelievers went hog wild on it voting for an answer that didn't even answer the question!

And I am not even talking about just my posts. It is nearly ever Christian post there is.

What gives? Why are the heathens cramming their faith down our throats?

why not?

actually it does not make any sense that people who have absolutely no belief in spirituality, continue to comment and ask questions on the religion and spirituality section of answers.

I guess in a backhanded way it proves two things.
1. That they must deep down doubt their stand against religion.
and
2. They really make themselves look stupid by continuing to populate this section.

OK, so you don't believe in god, vampires, werewolves? What else don't you believe in? I could quote your saying about what people that don't believe are here... but I wont. However, believe or not, you should be able to backup your beliefs, spiritually or otherwise, so you will be able to make an argument. If you are offended by people who are frantic in their theism or otherwise rude, then look on the other side. Both sides try to shove their believes into the other side, it's natural, human. If you feel abused by someone's thought or conclusions, then you should stop and ask yourself, what and why does that offend you. If there were no arguments, then nothing will go forward, even this category, along with all others, will not exist. Personally I find difference in opinion refreshing, and fanatic beliefs (or non beliefs ), amusing.

This is an open discussion column. What is the great thing now that you do not actually have to look at the stupid answers very long when you just click the thump down button...they disappear like PUFF!

I also like to ask questions about contradictions in the Bible, so we get more educated about our responses when we face these questions from other people. Just shine your light for Jesus. There is no too small service for our Lord. Those bad weather birds seem to be everywhere, that is not true..they just move around a lot.

Remember, many people here are still basically children. And all of us are here for the different reasons. I personally want to spread the Gospel. The good news about that God loves us. Do not let them to lower your spirit!!!Put the full armor of God around you, then evil cannot penetrate. God bless!

It is the same reason why some Christians are going at the nonbelievers. I am a religious person myself, but I don't shove my beliefs down people's throats. People don't like that sort of thing and it's certainly not a way of being a good example

It's nobody's place to be pointing fingers and saying that so and so is right and so and so is wrong.

If someone does not believe something or if someone says something bad about something or someone else don't preach to them, just let it be. I generally tell them that they need to respect the beliefs of others just as we need to respect the nonbeliefs of others, even though we don't disagree, it's not OUR PLACE to be pointing fingers and calling people heathens or judging them.

You call 14 answers hog wild???

The freedom of speech act allows Christians, Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists etc etc to answer any questions in here. Whether or not they respect the religion and question being asked depends on the type of answer you will get.

I see on here much hypocrisy from Christians, claiming that they get bashed, spare a thought for the Muslims on here, the vile and contemptuous remarks that are made far out weight any responses that you will get posting a Christian related question. You complain when we disagree but when you some of your followers spill hate filled remarks its OK.

I think the "heathens" are cramming it down our throats for the same reason the christians tend to cram it down their throats...because they can. I'm a believer myself, but I think they do this in response to having to deal with religion affecting them in their lives on a daily basis and they're not interested in it. i don't think we can make them believe until they are ready and some of them if not most of them aren't going to be ready. ever. i know the bible says we should spread the word but at the same time I think these people have a right to their own feelings and ideas without being told they're wrong. just my thoughts. :)

I can only speak for myself, I cannot speak for anyone else. I asked a question that got very different answers, and that's okay. I wanted to see what others had to say about the subject. But in answer to your question, yes, many believers do force their views down your throat. Unfortunately that does reflect on everyone as a whole. I am called to give a testimony or reason (when asked), about why and what gives me the hope that I have.

It happens on both sides of the issue. Some discussion is good. You can learn a lot about why other people feel the way they do. I personally feel that most of the so-called contradictions are just nit-picking, but I learned a lot from reading them, and it helps me to understand why people don't believe. Can we ALL be a little more open-minded?

Misery (non believers) likes company (to convert you). I get it all the time too. I guess it bugs them to see someone happy (a believer knowing it's in God's hands). Just stick to what is between the covers of the Bible and you'll be fine. These are the test where non believers will challenge your faith. Maybe they are doing you a favor by irritating you enough to really do more research. Like the song goes, "I beg your pardon, no one ever promised you a rose garden." Being a Christian isn't a tea party all the time, as you well know. Ask Jesus, I am sure He will tell you that, the truth hurts, not only telling it, but living it. At the end of the day stick to your guns, you'll be fine. Admittedly I had my days when it was overwhelming. God bless, smile.

If you notice, a lot of the responses we Christians get from non-believers, Atheists, etc. are nothing but insults on spelling and grammatical errors. Not too many of them can find things wrong w/ our beliefs- they have to stoop to pointing out the mistakes in our grammar, spelling, etc. Grasping at straws, perhaps?? Satan can give you ALL sorts of excuses not to believe. If I'm going to be "brainwashed" by someone, let it be God rather than satan!!

For that post, the non believers probably thought that it was the best answer that didn't take twenty minutes to read....

And in general....it would be easy to live as a Christian if there were no challenges....but then again, how can someone actually demonstrate living as a Christian if they were never tested?
