My question is why? and what are you thinking?

The below is something someone on yahoo said..... I say this to them, and those who believe them... Good job making your God sound like a hateful, non forgiving person. If athiests, agnostics, whatever are definatly going to hell, than doesnt that just prove your God isnt a very kind one? He wont forgive them even if they live a good life? Honestly I consider myself agnostic. Im just curious as to how people really think, and why do they think it make sense? Im not saying all christians or religious people are like this. or believe this. So dont be affended if you are not one of them. Thanks.

Let say you have like more than ten thousand members your church but somebody from oversea with two members in their church ask you to go to help them pioneering in their place. Are you will let go of your church and go start all over again?Why?Why not?

I know you think I am really young for you but that doesn’t mean that I am not serious about relationships. You always say that in five months I will leave you for a guy who speaks perfect English. Ok, so I was talking to someone who takes lots of time out of his day to help poor kids and/or kids who need help going through school with their homework etc.....

Well, he was in a meeting one day with some other guys and was discussing ways of how to help kids succeed better and to get kids off the streets.....

Then someone else said that we shouldn't focus on kids here because we all from the beginning HAVE A CHOICE other kids in other countries do not.

So what is your opinion? Do you agree with this or disagree>

My husband wants to spend the winter away from our home. Our daughter is pregnant with her first baby--our first grandchild. He says he will be home when she delivers...I want to be home to enjoy this event with her.along the way.. He says he's going with or without me...
I say I will go next year...please let's just go for a bit.. he says NOPE!..I am so hurt.. She is due April 8th. I feel my entire life was spent working and now I want to enjoy my family more.....I regret so many hours at the office...please help. We get along great as long as he is happy!

My mom is going to New Orleans to help clean up the mess Katrina made-she wants me to go with her but I really dont want to. but if it's to help others, i sorta dont mind. the thing is, I'm spoiled, I'm used to sleeping in a bed and wearing nice clothes everyday and just kickin' it. but if i go to new orleans, then i will be sleeping on a church floor and i shouldnt even bother bringing cute clothes since all i'll be doing is cleaning and building stuff (i'm not used to things like that.
i think i should go, but what do you all have to say about this?

why does it seem that every faithful religious person seems to think that their way of believing and living is the only way? I never understood the thinking behind the "Only way with this particular God/Religion" thing. Don't most religions teach tolerance and love of other people reguardless of what religion, race etc etc..they are?

The bible was written by prophets that communicated with God. Every Christian accepts that fact yes? But today, when someone has communicated with God, or says God has spoken to him, why do we consider him mentally inept. If the man who talks to God is crazy, then the Bible was written by crazy people. Why do we accept the Bible as undenyable true?

If racism is a problem in America, why do black people exacerbate the problem by naming their children in such a way that tells everyone their race? Doesn't naming your child Shakira, Shaneeka, or Aquanetta put them at a disadvantage when it comes to applying for a job in racist America?
