Why is it that when my boyfriend and I go to NYC, everyone says to him "are you Jewish or Italian?"?

Has anyone had that said to them. He gets it all the time. Thank you and have a nice weekend

well he must look at least like one of the two. it would be better if you had described his features. I'm guessing t hey are dark? does he have a big nose? =P
