I understand what you are saying and it would be hard. But sometimes God wants us to do something else. We have to be ready and willing to go where ever the Lord wants us to go. Isaiah 6:8 Whom shall I send and who will go for us ? Then said I; Here am I ; send me. We just lost two great families in our Church to the Mission Field. I'm so proud of them. They sold their house and many possessions and left. One to Papua New Guinea and one to Ghana. They weren't Pastors but they left their jobs and relatives to do the work of the Lord. Outstanding!

If you are a real Pastor working for the Christian God you would. You already have an established church and you should be able to give that to a new Pastor and go overseas to help build a new one. Are you saying they wouldn't because of the money the ten thousands are giving? That isn't a true Pastor then. A true Pastor would go and bring as many new people into God's house as he could. He would help people in a foreign country to find God. I am not a Christian but I know that they should do that. I know that priests in my religion would go overseas to help there. Hemet (AUS) already does go overseas to help out.

lokotz,
It's difficult to understand what you are asking. Let me ask you if you mean this:
If you were a Pastor of a Church with a large congregation of about 10,000 members, would you leave that chuch to help build another one in another country?

NO. Not unless there was a Pastor that could lead the Church better than I could, or if it was clear that God wanted me to. Otherwise I would be abandoning my calling by doing that. Why not send a promising Pastor to do that work?

Both pastoring a big Church and starting new Churches are equally important. Discipleship and outreach are both important aspects of the Christian life.
I would have to seek God's leading on it.
Leaving a big Church to start a new one is not "abandoning your flock" if that is how God has led you. Staying with your big Church is not wrong if that is how God has led you.
It's all about obedience to God and for each person the answer may be different. He has different purposes for each of our lives.

Sure, why not? If you are really in it for Jesus and not just for the money and prestige, why not go and give it all up as Jesus did and His Apoltles did? If you can do it here, why not do it again for those that really need it? I would love to go.

Why not do both at the same time?

A "Pioneer" is a temporary position.
