Given that Paul put down the rules for building churches, and tithes and such, and Jesus spent most of his time preaching, or more to the point speaking out of doors, and said that the congregation was the church, not the building. I am not refuting the teachings of Christ, just the teachings of Paul.

I just saw a Christain post this verse from the bible:

Romans 1:25
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Don't you think Jesus is a creation as well? Just like any other human being? Just like Adam and Eve?

Isaiah 43:13 is my favorite bible verse:
"34:13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls."

See what I mean, Dragons! Owls! Cool. If you can think of a better way of making the bible interesting than adding dragons, I'd like to hear it.

my little 3 year old loves the "cartmen cartoon"; and when I tried reading from the Bible to him he sorta looked bored,

Last night was the episode where at the end the Pope asks for the giant spider to come down to see if the can change the Church laws, and the priest says no we arent doing these old laws anymore,

and the people in the home go, oh yeah, the bible is a bunch of stories that teach us life lessons, thats how we should live our lives, or else we will have (stuff) come out of our mouths!

South Parks attacks fundamentalist religion, but it always comes back to "the lesson for today".

For me and my 3 year old son, its Cartmen.

Ladies and gentlemen, which would you prefer your children learn morality from, South Park, or the Holy Bible?

It seems that when you state a fact, people start taking offense and telling you that you are the one with the problem. I don't think that my not wanting to give up my rights to people who have made wrong decisions in their lives (ate too much and got fat, had too many children and live off the government, and all these whiny people who think they shouldn't have to go by the rules is much to ask. Why do people make excuses for people? Why is every bad choice that people make a "disease"? I had an aunt that weighed 300 and had over 20 surgeries and multiple health problems like diabetes, thyroid and all that stuff but she got off her butt and stopped eating all that junk that made her that way and now she is under 120 lbs and 80 years old! Proof that cutting out the junk food and getting off your lazy butt will help.

I think so. I never had any priviliges being "white". These stupid moolies fail to realize tv and the government bows down backwards for them and they still complain that white people will not bow to them. They want to attack whites that come to their neighborhoods and have their own networks but assume whites are priviliged. lmao! That is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
I am not priviliged for being white when minorities can be racist but not me.

My pentecostal best friend (who keeps telling me to 'have fun in hell') confuses me totally when she talks about the rapture....
Do chritians believe that Jesus will come back as a human, preach, and then take them to heaven? Or will it go down like those 'Left Behind' books...where Jesus is not seen and everyone just dissappears....I hope Hell has cable.....

Christians, why does God keep creating people knowing very well that a certain number will not follow Him and the Holy Bible and some will definitely go to Hell. Isnt he knowingly engaging in a losing battle where he willfully allows for the number of people in Hell to increase, whenever a person does not follow Jesus and the Holy Bible.

Either way you look at it he is playing a losing battle, where the numbers on his side always keep reducing while the numbers on the other side keep increasing? (from 0 at the time of creation to a fairly large population by now).
