I am a girl and we had a priest in our church that was convicted of that crime. I stopped going to church since that was going on. I know I am not supposed to judge them but it's hard to believe what they say when you know some of them are liars. I have been to other churches and sit there wondering if these priests are liars too. How do I get over this and return to church? (serious answers only please)

I mean c'mon, how well are we preparing our kids for the real world by telling them essentially there are no losers? When you become a Christian you are baptized into a new family. If you are born again when you become a Christian, how can you be born again? I don't remember Jesus telling us to do this. It's like saying I'm born-again, born-again. So if Jesus saved you the first time who did it the second time?

It seems most people that use the title are trying to one-up their brothers and sisters in Christ. I think we need to stop resorting to shiny titles and let our word stand for our word.
