before everything. Prince William is one in each of Prince Charles' heirs. And no. interior the line of succession Charles comes next. on condition that he abdicates can Prince William take the crown. Or whilst he dies. Prince William will become King William. And ignore with regard to the remark which says that if Charles adjustments the countries' faith to Catholic. it extremely is rubbish. that could have been actual around 3 hundred hundred years in the past. And approximately marrying a Catholic she become in all likelihood pertaining to the Wallace Simpson incident. the sole reason this brought about abdication become because of the fact she become divorced. So yeah :)

We don't call Prince Charles, the crown prince. He's the Pince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall, among his many other titles.

He was invested as Prince of Wales in 1968 and he will be crowned King on the death of Queen Elizabeth.

Charles will be crowned when (and if) he becomes king. That will happen when his mother either dies or abdicates. If Charles should die before his mother, William would be the direct heir to the throne, but unless that happens, there is little likelihood Charles will not become king.

He will succeed to the throne when his mother dies (she has said 'it's a job for life' and is unlikely to abdicate), and will be crowned about a year later. Coronations take a long time to prepare. This suggestion of 'skipping a generation' has no basis in the constitution. He will be king as soon as he dies, subject only to confirmation by the privy council. People not liking him is not a sufficient reason for the privy council to reject him.

My guess is it'll be in the next 10-20 years because her mother didn't die until she was like 101. And Queen Elizabeth 2 is just 80 and I hear she's vibrant. And if she did decide to abdicate, I think she would give it to Charles. I don't think she hates her son like everyone else does. I know she doesn't really approve of Charles' choices in life, but I don't think she hates him:)

After his mother, Queen Elizabeth II dies. I doubt she will abdicate to him anytime soon. I believe if she was going to abdicate to Charles she would have done it by now and if she does abdicate it would be to her grandson William
