If the Bible is true, Noah would have had to have Dino's on it. I mean the earth is only 6000 years old right? Thats what the Bible says or is "interpreted"

I don't know why you people think I made up the earth being 6K yrs old. Ask any Biblical authority what they say.

My short interpretation, God's creation of Heaven and Earth is a description of his creation of man as we appear today. To God a day is a thousand years and a thousand years is a day. The description in Genesis stated that over the course of six days (six thousand years) He created Heaven and Earth. On the seventh day he rested. Since the Bible states when Jesus returns he will set up his kingdom on Earth and reign for a thousand years (1 day) the seventh day the day in which God will rest. If recorded history in the Bible is roughly six thousand years (four thousand before Christ and two thousand years since), God will be resting soon.

The Bible states in the end times there will be wars and rumor of wars, etc. Just take a look at what is currently going on in the world. Go pull up news on Yahoo's news site. Either the Bible is real or man is making it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Either way, we will probably know soon.

What I don't interpret it to mean is a physical 6000 years old dispelling any of what science has discovered in the way of fossils etc. I believe that prehistoric is just that, prehistoric, before man either had the ability or the knowledge to record details of life as we know and do today.

Genesis 7:13-14
In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

All of the animals boarded the ark "in the selfsame day." Since there were several million species involved, they must have boarded at a rate of at least 100/second. How did poor Noah and his family make sure that the correct number of each species entered through the door and then get them all settled into their proper living quarters so efficiently? I wish the airline companies could do as well!

Yes, Noah would have to have dinosaurs on the ark, but the problem is mostly solved by the idea that he could have brought them as babies. Younger dinosaurs would be smaller, eat less, sleep more, and over all be less lumbering and scary.

Yes, there were dinosaurs. They weren't necessarily full grown, but there were dinosaurs. There were dogs - not every single breed was there, though - same for dinos. Just as there were likely only 2 or 4 dogs there were likely only 2 or 4 dinosaurs. Check out AnswersInGenesis.org for some excellent explanations and resources!! God bless & thanks for a great question :) ~Nisa

how can you know that dinosaurs co-existed with man? according to the Bible God created the beasts before man, and this done in 7 days. however Days werent defined at that current time and no one was around to record the events in relation to the amount of time each held. God is infinite, and a day to him could be thousands of years to us.

(remember 1st day God created light from dark, he didnt create the earth and sun, and a day is defined by the 360 degree rotation of the earth on its axis. )

Where does it say in the Bible that the earth is 6,000 years old? I mean, does it say that, or are you ridiculing someone's interpretation of what it actually does say? Or do you just not have the slightest idea either way?

Even without the dinosaurs, the ark would have had to have been about the size of a skyscraper to fit two of every animal on it.

the dinosaurs possibly werent on the ark...at least not the ones we know of...there are two theories to this...one is that they believe that the dinosaurs were already extinct by that time...the other is that noah took two of every KIND of animal...not two of EVERY animal...this he pulled animals in that family. Another theory is that he didn't take adult animals he took babies...he could easily and efficiently take eggs, cubs, or baby lizards and save space rather than a full adult.
