But can I read any version that I like? I prefer the NASB or the NKJV, if that's ok...

3 chapters a day will get you through the Bible in one year. I already do read 3 or more chapters a day (KJV). I'm glad to hear someone else wants to do it also......God Bless!

Why? I've already read the bible. Boring book, no plot, bad characterization, some truly disturbing ideas... I'm rather read the book I'm currently reading, American Gods by Neil Gaiman. It's a really good book, you should read it. :)
