i am an sikh girl soon approaching the age to get married but all my friends who are non-sikhs think this is ridiculous and suggest that i should run awa if i do i will bring immediate shame on my family

Jesus made a convenant with his disciples, and the bible states that they started receiving the holy spirit as an indication of being annointed and chosen to be in God's kingdom....how come churches teach that if you are good you go to heaven....where in the bible states that that all the good ones go to heaven....David, Lot, and even John the babtise didn't went to heaven, even though they were faithful and good servants of God....

Why is it Agnostics are the only ones ive never seen a disrespectful answer from? I get proclaimed christians who are extremely rude, just the same as athiests and many other religions but ive NEVER seen a rude remark from an agnostic.

One of the respondents to the previous question...said that the website in question didn't intimidate him, but that Christians attacking him "for being gay" did.

As a Christian, I can't deny that the Bible, Old Testament and New, DOES condemn homosexual activity. It also condemns gluttony, gossipping, greediness, spiritual pride, prayerlessness, cowardice, one of which in the list, all Christians must admit they fall into still....I notice a campaign among Christians to "go after" homosexuals. I'll be the first to admit, I "go after" atheists, because they're looking for a fight. Homosexuals, typically, aren't, unless they're doing it under the guise of defending atheism.

Homosexuals have internal guilt APLENTY without any outside pounding. What would it be like to watch friend after friend succumb to AIDS, while you yourself were still standing? Even if you weren't directly responsible for seducing a youngster, imagine it. "A bruised reed, he shall not break."-isaiah.

I heard a theory from a person who said that the september 11 "terrorist" attacks were all fake, with it all being done by the government in order to destroy evidence of unspecified actions with other countries and to distract the people from finding anything out about the "truth". I dont recall all of what they said, but it sounds suspicious to me, and I would curious what others might know or think of this.

I'm almost positive now that I am being stalked by ninjas. There is this shadow in the corner of my room, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's not a shadow at all! Are ninjas able to hold perfectly still for any length of time? And wouldn't this "shadow of death" eventually need to use my bathroom or check his voicemails?

I don't understand how anyone can believe in a god. It just seems childish to me, the whole concept. There's some invisible man who is watching over us and he decides what happens to us after we die. WTF??? It's like Santa but on a more depressing level.
