I think you have a point there.

I've said it before and I've said it again:
Religion is an EXCUSE, not a CAUSE for wars and suffering. It is merely an excuse to explain why human conflict is so prevolent. If it weren't for Islam, the Middle East would still be ticked, and if it weren't for Christianity, there still would have been invasions similar to the crusades. I can't say with absolute certainty whether there would have been more or less suffering overall, but I can say that there is not significant enough evidence to say that religion is the cause of any significant amount of human suffering; it is merely an excuse. After all, Communist China was Athiest, and they still had mass suffering.

Most of those who make statements like you have posted believe religion to be a human construct (not of any divine revelatory import). If this is the case, is it not rather strange to blame ‘religion’ for anything! After all, its not an entity, is it? How would a fabricated human system of thought start a war? Religion doesn’t invade a country, humans do. Would it not be more consistent to blame humanity for the religions they invent to justify the evil already embryonic in their hearts, than to blame religion itself, as thought it has its own subsistence? You humanists should either pipe down and hate yourselves (for we are to blame), or become a Christian and hate yourself (for we are to blame), and take up the cross, look to Christ and live! Jesus didn’t make men evil, evil men made the crucifixion necessary. Trust and Christ and you will never die!

you relatively can't get a good answer. maximum folk will answer the religion they comprehend. How am I to renowned if the Muslim faith practices peace as quickly as I on no account studied it? yet to be user-friendly, i comprehend Buddhist are assume to be peace loving, yet then so became into Jesus. I mean how lots extra non-violent are you able to be with "turn the different cheek." and "Do unto others...." definitely- i think of maximum religions say a similar subject- help others, carry unity. the difficulty is a lot different stuff gets in the way of the genuine mean we on no account get the prospect to be sure it in its organic type.

Uuuhhh...wow...this question is somewhat of a self-licking ice-cream cone. You have defined all terrorists as religious, and therefore all religions are terrorists organizations. Nice.
Unfortunately, it is not the truth.
Agreed, people do things in the name of God of which God disapproves. That does not mean "religion" is the enemy of anything.

Religion is often used as a righteous cloak for evil. But not always.
