Woodwinman is right. Kids fighting over who's imaginary friend can kick who's a.s.s. is so stupid.
I don't understand how they can't take a step back and see it for themselves. I guess there's alot of people who can't look at things from someone else's perspective. I'm glad I don't have that problem.

Wow, it's really sad that you and most of the people that replied to your question doesn't believe in God. You asked how do you believe.....how can you not believe? God made everything! The earth, the sun, the moon the stars! God is not a man, he's a spirit! He sees all and he knows all. You have to read the bible, that's God's word, that's the proof that He is real. Nothing about God is depressing dude. Go to church, better yet, go to a bible study group so you ask questions, and I promise you they will answer them.

C.S. Lewis offers the idea that God made the universe with enough evidence to convince those who choose to have Faith, and comfort with the idea that they are right those who choose not to.
If there is no Creator, then how does one judge "good" or "evil," except by your own partisan desires?
If there is no Creator, then what is the point of life, knowing that the heat-death of the Universe is only a few hundred-thousand-trillian years away?
The only philosophy that makes sense without a creator is "Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die!"

How can you live life without faith that there is a God. If there is no God then what are you living for? Do you think when you die, thats the end of it? You ask this question, just take a step back and really search within you to answer that question for yourself.

Santa is depressing? Did you get a lot of coal as a kid?
Anyhow, who says that God is a man?
Try reading the Sikh Mool Mantar for a different perspective on God.

One day you will learn that in spite of all of the success you have in life, in spite of all of the"toys" you've collected, and in spite of all of the friends you may have, something is still missing...a void inside of you. That is God. As far as the "invisible man" part is concerned, God is a spirit. I ask you to take a chance and just once pray to God and ask that you receive the gift of faith. I think you might be pleasantly surprised at the results.
Be blessed my friend

When i was younger i believed out of peer pressure. The idea didn't make a whole lot of sense to me but so many people believed it was true that it made me feel like i was weird, so i went along with it... I'm glad i grew up.

People believe in God because they are too weak minded to live a life thats all their own. They need someone to tell them how to live and what to fear.
