Yes. Satan is blinding the eyes of people to the truth of the gospel. He knows his days are numbered and that he can't do this forever so he is escalating his attemp to take as many people to hell as possible.

He is putting himself into overtime! We have different religions that worship idols, crimes, drugs, terrorism, thieves, liars, racism, child molesters, hatred, deceptions, and murders, abortions included. We are taking the foundation of what this country was founded on, Christianity. We no longer have the ten commandments in the courthouse, people are trying to remove crosses from public properties, bibles are against the law is some countries, not allowed to pray in school. I believe that he is trying his best to do the worst to get his his way with as many people as he can. We are just blessed to know that God literally has the whole world in his hands. Satan does have restrictions on some of the things that he can do. The holy spirit is surrounding the earth and keeping Satan from having full reign. When Jesus returns to the earth for the rapture the holy spirit will be lifted off of the earth and God will unleash his wrath and let Satan have full reign down here, the Antichrist is yet to come.

First of all, where does Jesus say that Satan is in control of the earth until He returns? If Satan ever controlled the earth, he lost that through the Crucifixion and subsequent Resurrection.

Matthew 28:18-20 (New International Version)
18Then Jesus came to them [the disciples] and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Colossians 2:15
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he [Jesus] made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Satan does not have control of the earth. However, he is free to go about tempting and influencing people as always. Unfortunately, most people listen to him.

The only thing causing evil on this planet is the humans that inhabit it. If everyone would take responsibility for their actions and words there would be no "Satan". Stop feeding the beast and it will die. Once people realize they are the problem...not "the devil"...things will change.

We doom ourselves. Look at yourself right now and If you are unhappy with anything...change it...it's not up to God or the Devil...it's up to YOU. We are the reason things are the way they are....ALL of us. Make a change. Love more, understand more. Move with God and see that we are all in this together. No matter what you believe or what name you have for God realize you have a choice to make the world a better place...even if it's in some small way.

You're in control....what are you going to do?

Biblically He is called" Prince of the Power of the Air"
His Job is to turn away and supplant a messhiah of his own and also deceive peoples thinking about the Real Messiah the One has paid for our Sins on the Cross so whosoever believes in Him has eternal life.
So at present we are fighting Principalities and Powers.( just read the News every day you can see it)
This will be water over the dam When Christ returns to pick up the believers.

I don't know where it says that, but I certainly don't believe that Satan is in control of the Earth. We are in control of ourselves. If you get hit with a test from God and then fail it, don't blame God that you can't handle 9-11. Blame yourself. God didn't cause 9-11. We did. People did. God will answer prayers to those who pray hard enough. But even for those few who do, God can't grant all their wishes. There is a road we are all headed down that leads to death. Beyond deaths veil lies something good, for those who pass the tests. For those stubborn fools who don't get it... lies something else. But it isn't worms. It's an eternity of hell and torture. So though Satan is somewhat in control with his dominions around here. Don't think for a second that God doesn't have the power to intervene. It's ok though, it's natural for you and the others to be discombobulated. It's human nature to be lost. The trick and question is... How do you get found?

Satan

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

That and more! God gave him dominion over the earth before satan attempted to overthrow him who also took a third of the angels with him. Yes, I believe he will rule until the return of Christ.

Yes it is true that Satan is the ruler of this world.......for now. Soon he will loose control over it and find his eternal destination. Jesus will end Satan's control.

When Satan was tempting Jesus, he offered the whole world to him, if Jesus would just bow and worship him. Jesus refused. This shows that Satan has been somewhat of a ruler of this world for quiet sometime now. How else would he have been able to offer it to Jesus if it were not true?

we see in Genesis that Jesus will crush Satan's head. YEAH!!!!!!!

If I remember my New Testament correctly, Tweety, Jesus said that "The Prince of this world comes and with him I have nothing..."

It helps if you know that 'Prince,' or 'Principality,' is a type, or species, of angel. The word 'satan (small "s")' is Hebrew for 'enemy.'

It is generally accepted by scholars in that field that Lucifer, the Fallen Angel, hailed from the ranks of Principalities, or at least, Higher Powers. Jesus was probably referring to Lucifer as 'Prince of this World' in the sense that since Lucifer 'fell to this world,' he is 'the Prince of this world.'

We must never forget, however, that any Angel is far more powerful than any man. And the New Testament does tell us that during His temptation in the desert, Jesus was told "All these kingdoms were given to me and I give them to whom I please..."

And no, I wouldn't put anything past the Father of Lies...
