Where have you been? The people that bash tend to be equal opportunity bashers.
Christians do not have a monopoly on being picked on or made fun of.

I find it amusing how all of these answers prove your point exactly. Christianity is a hot topic on Yahoo! answers.

I think it is the most challenged because it is the only truth. People are afraid of that, or refuse to believe it.

many Christians on here also open themselves up for criricism, or act/type in a very rude/offensive manner.

I am totally with you, though.

I think it goes both ways. If you look you'll see disrespectful questions that are mostly for atheists, Christians and Muslims. Sometimes Jews. Why not many about other religions?? Because they are in the minority as far as numbers. It has to go both ways. It's not just Christians getting picked on.

Just remember this: People choose there own belief; being it christian, WICCAN (correct spelling), Budist, or whatever they want should be what they want. So until everyone stops picking on everyone else for their choice then there will be bashing of religions no matter where you go. I am wiccan and all I hear is that I am a satinist and that I am not and will never be. To believe in satan once has to believe in one god and in which I do not. So until people stop saying their religion is better than another, in which there is no better religion than the one you already have, then the fights will continue and name calling all the time.

Congratulations on a valid observation.

Still, there are some pretty stupid Christians who answer in pretty awful ways. But you are right. I remember hearing how someone in my son's school was reprimanded because of a simple Bible expression used in an answer, but they studied Native American prayers as pretty and poetic expressions of diversity. At another school, a Moslem Imam was permitted to openly teach the Koran and encourage students to consider becoming Moslems, but Christians and Jews were frozen out and not permitted equal time.

You are right. But then Christianity is messing up their license to do the things God would have them avoid. Matthew 10:22, among other places, speaks of that when Jesus said, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

Patience, friend, patience.

Almost all of them are a bunch of Disruptive Jerks (aka Trolls) that just want to irritate the masses. They are poor, ugly, and unpopular, and their lives are a living Hell. Coming to an on-line discussion forum and trying to make others as miserable as they are is all that gives them joy in their otherwise bleak, desolate lives.

They're like the guys in school that huddled together and talked about witchcraft, Nirvana, Neo Nazi ism, and Drugs all the time. They hated their lives then, they hate their lives now, and all that's left is the chance to make everybody else they see miserable (so long as they aren't close enough to throw a good right cross). Cowards.

All of the girls in their little group that were at all attractive realized what a waste of time hanging out with those losers was and have moved on to nursing school or gotten engaged to that rich kid that was always in close proximity but never quite one of the group. Now, all they have is their drugs, that shack that twenty losers have been held up in for the past few months, and the music of whoever managed to attain a guitar and learn how to play it. Damn Losers. They're all alike.

Remember the Torah is the only set of books that not only survived the last global deluge, but they are a compilation of books that expose the spiritual world of Satan. They list the generational seed of conquerors--lists the ones that conquered and the ones that failed and why. The judges failed for the most part--Only 4-6 kings got passing grades- the Levitical priesthood lost its power because they spat on the redeemer in fulfillment of Psalm 22. That breach allowed profane Gentiles to touch Him--also in fulfillment of Isaiah 53. Satan knows that he cannot touch powerful and anointed Christians, so he gets persons that he has controlled with the following spirits: oppression, possession, depression, addiction or spiritual infirmities to react every time they see the manifestation of God's light.
remember that Jeshua did not only bring the restoration anointing, but He brought it to Gentiles also, to Muslims also and taught all how to achieve it. Without Jeshua's teachings, Satan would be able to fulfill his boast in Isaiah 14:13 - "I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far north."

I ask questions because I want to learn more about Christians. I also would like to know how many Christians are aware of the fallacies of their religion, or will even admit that they are there. Christianity is the most powerfull religion in America, and if it isn't challanged, it could grow into something huge and dangerous.

Jesus said it best.

Matt 10:22 "All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."

Matt 24:9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

John 15:18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.

Titus 3:3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.

The reason that they don't make fun of those religions is because they're benign and fall right in line with the ways of the world. We as Christians stand up for what is right and true and because the fact that those in the darkness hate the light of Christ, they attack us because of the conviction of their own wickedness. It's a bully that teases other kids to make him feel better about himself. In some ways it's good to see others attack us, because we then know that we're doing something right for Jesus and that the rest of the world is not happy due to that fact.

Because the Chiba, Buddhists, Wiccans, Taoist and other religions are not shoving it down anyone's throat. They don't start wars, or kill those who are different, they have manners, they are not condescending, they don't accuse those who don't "believe" of being less worthy. I find most xtians to be rude, pompous elitists.

However there are a few xtians on here that are genuine, caring and thinking people. I wish you were one of them.
