Is the pope in vatican city for the catholics only or for all christians..was jesus a catholic, protestant, baptist, lutheran or what??or is he only a christian without any sects??was catholic made by st.paul or was st. paul the founder of the whole of christianity..or is it jesus the founder of christianity??

According to the Bible, after eating the fruits of tree of knowledge will have knowledge of good & evil. This is the useful knowledge. If Eve has the knowledge of good & evil, she may not commit any evil thing. Otherwise, she may do some evil thing without even know that these are evil. However, the God still want to forbid Adam & Eve to eat that fruits. What is the actual implication of this story? Any Christian can tell me the reason? I have no offence to any Christian. In fact I like to go to church as I can feel peaceful in the church. However, I do not believe certain things in the bible. In order to clear my doubts & increase my faith, please answer to the point. Thanks.

I am in the process of an Orthodox conversion. I made a vow last year that I would not touch a guy before marriage, besides maybe hand holding. Sex really confuses me. I have had sex before, and I was sexually abused as a child. I figured the best way to have a healthy sex life is to not have sex again until I am married.

I went to a YJAM shabbat get together yesterday. I found out that my vows are eaisier said than done. I noticed a pattern in myself that may have something to do with being sexually abused. When a cute guy talks to me, I notice myself throwing myself at him, figuratively speaking. Yesterday I didn't realize I was flirting until after the fact. This guy was talking to me, and he was soooo attractive.... I started to have naughty thoughts. I am glad I didn't touch him, and I'm glad I decided to go home after I realized I had been flirting. But the way I acted really scared me. It seems that the only way I can relate to guys is by sex.

Why are American teenagers so worried about what they wear on their first day of school?
I haven't noticed this in the UK, but it seems that many young American men and women are too focused on how they look at school.

I read somewhere that Aristotle said that gods were created to keep humans moral and keep them from becoming evil. I don't know what to believe. I'm not those kind of people that hugs my bible. I don't even own one. But I am still a Christian. I need guidance. If you don't have anything nice to say about this, than don't reply.

I'm with a man who I love more than anything. I plan on spending the rest of my life with him. He's ultra-het and has some discomfort with my sexuality. I'd never trade him in for anything and he feels the same for me. My experience with women has been little more than nonexistent. I'm very secure in who I am and who I care for. I'm just worried about people's perceptions of a bisexual feminist who has never had a real girlfriend, is in a relationship with a 'traditional minded' man, and will most likely never experence physical nor emotional intamacy with a woman.

(please don't answer this question with 'who cares what others think'. I know and I don't. but I do have a semi-public job and am simply wondering about what this means to my image not my self-perception)

I think it's a perfect question for the people who are 100% opposed to abortion and also 100% opposed to homosexuality (funny how intolerance for these two things go hand in hand with most church attending Christians).

happens or would you attempt to flee as fast as you can?

For arguments sake let's say that this could happen(in case you don't believe it could) and the spacecraft that appeared made no initial communications that gave any sign as to the intents of the inhabitants.And let's say it was big enough to be seen as either a possible warship or a possible ship of peace or science.But without any communication, you really don't know what to expect.So, would you stay and be excited about the possibilities or would you flee at the possibility that this is the beginning of an attack and you want to hide out far away and hope to survive?

i once went into a sideshow tent to see "the headless women"- she had a wooden plank with test tubes on it where her head should have been. i didn't believe she was real until i went up and touched her hand. she was real alright! it had to have been an optical illusion.
