It depends on the name of the place, but the answer is generally yes for libraries and sometimes for bookstores.

For library names, when using them in a sentence, you should use the:

"I got this book from the New York Public Library."
"We went to the Library of Congress on our trip to Washington, DC."

However, for bookstores, you only use "the" if it is actually part of the name of the store:

"I bought this book at Barnes and Noble." ("the" is not part of the name of this store, so don't use "the")

"I bought these books at The Lighthouse." ("the" is part of the name of this store, so it should be used.

You add the article The in front of the name library or bookstore only if you are taliking of a specific library or a bookstore .
if it is a general library or bookstroe than no need.
