Why is it that people put down scientology based on the portrayal of OT III? Even if there was a belief in an alien reason for our misery - does that effect all the good things the church does...As a Scientologist it really pisses me of that people keep putting down my church - we provide so much help to the community and yet people still complain....

Why is it that the cult soapies from Dawson's creek, beverley hills, and OC all don't portray a realistic ethnic population of America, or any other english speaking nation? I live in Australia, and i've noticed that the cult following "home and away" there has never ever featured a character who doesn't have blonde hair, blue eyes, or who has "foreign" culture in them. Of course there was Leah, who was Greek , and they never mentioned that part of her heritage ever again. Granted there are now and then shows like Grey's anatomy, with like 2 ethnic minorities on the show. But why is it that when i turn on the TV i see shows about "white" American/Australian, yet when i walk out my door i see different races everywhere. Don't we supposedly live in a "multi-cultural approved" age?
Are white cast just easier on the eyes or what? Do you, as viewers (even if you don't watch it religiously) mind that this goes on?

i am a girl studying abroad alone in one of the universities when i met a guy from my country who seems to like my talking. he is so willing to give up his breaks so that he can talk with me. my problem is that i think that i mistake his behavior. why would he come and talk with me when he is surrounded by many beautiful girls. besides i think he misses our home country so he talks with me since we are from the same country and that is it. i feel i am attracted to him. he is 12 year older than me but we get along very well. i would like to hear your comments and advices please.

I'm sitting here watching Geraldo At Large, they have a man on there that goes to Mexico every three weeks to take food & money. I just can't understand this because they say these people have nothing and can't do anything about it for they are poor!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping those in need but i can think of alot of homeless, abuse, and fire shelters here in Philadelphia alone that has the hardest time caring for helpless and poor people! Not to mention the foster children that needs homes, money and love. Use your time and money to help someone you know or someone in the U.S.

they say that muslims want to impose their religion and should not and live by our rules. whats wrong if a muslim tells you that the decadent live some people live is not good? like binge drinking? swearing? bad behaviour? high crimes? women behaving badly? considered as sexual objetcs? couples cheating in each others? I mean the list is long, they are none of this is Islam, and yes islam respect women, if you think than letting your girfriend/wife going out half naked is a sign of respect or eqaulity with men then i don't know. islam is synonym of good behaviour ans respect amongst each other, and yes muslims people get mad when they see how westerners behave, most muslims countries have freedom of speech and behaviour and it doesn't mean that they want to leave live non muslims. and don't atrrt with sayin that her ein europe or the us we respect our women!!!

I have for some time been interested in learning to speak Korean. I wish to learn how to speak it fluently. There is an all Korean channel where I like (Chicago) but watching it is not enough I know. I want to meet people who can teach me how to read it, write it, and speak it. I don't want to go to school to learn it because it is costly.
