I think I answered this one before
You should only convert itno SIKHISM if you understand the religion and absolutly whole heartedly want to serve god and the world in the SIKH way.

Sikhs as a rule, do not run after people to convert them to Sikh faith.

thousands of westerners are converting to the Sikh faith and some of them are doing it in a very beautiful manner. But at the same time, they are inspired on their own. If someone is inspired and wants to become a Sikh, they are welcomed into the faith wholeheartedly. No person is shunned or turned away.

Thank you for this question.

Simply put, you should go to a sikh temple to do so. Depending on where you live this could be easy or difficult. There is a wonderful sikh complex in Amritsar in India, if you can get there it is well worth the trip.

By the way, there is no rule for executing people who convert to another religion from Islam. This is a misconception that has, unfortunately crept into the concept of Sharia that exists today. This is false as are most of the modern, so-called, Islamic rules that are prevelant in many Muslim countries.

So, good luck with your quest. I wish you would not do it, but my faith tells me that you will be back!

Peace and Blessings,

Salim

Abandon Islam but DON'T convert.
There are no gods.
Religions are made up - I believe Sikhism is one of the relatively more moderate and modern ones, but deciding you don't need a religion is the paving stone to Human Kind's progress.
You have a very short time on earth. Use it wisely, think for yourself, help people, and enjoy life.

well assalam alaikum my brother,

i know wat u must be going through when u see around urself. but dont be afraid of some mortal. just be strong and pray a lot.

i dont know wat drove u to this but just take a breath, sit down and reconsider ur decision.

for the fear of mortal plz dont fall in Hellfire, it is easy to choose from all the pleasures in the world rather than walking on the hard pavement.

but remember the path that will be pleasure here on earth will be a burning Hellfire for u until eternity. and u know very well that there are some sins that are unforgivable.

but the path that will be hard and filled with difficulties here will be easy and peaceful and full of bliss when u meet ur Lord.

well i am no one to decide for u. u r the owner of ur freewill. when Allah has given u the freewill, i cant stop u and i will not interfere.

but i wish that u pray a lot and ask Allah for help rather than being in a hurry. read the quran and think about ur family. u doing this will also have an impact on them, esp if u have sisters.

May Allah bless u and show u the right path. plz reconsider esp if u r doing it for a gf/bf, as the world should learn to respect u for wat u r and not for wat u will become for them.

remember tough times dont last long, but tough people do.
May Allah bless u and show u the right path.

Any evangelical church will welcome you. It is also possible to convert to Sikhism:
http://religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/nrms/sikhs.html
or, of course, to Catholocism, Orthodoxy, etc. The Catholic Church has branches (Copt, Maronite) in many predominantly Muslim cultures.

But Zoroastrianism and Judaism make it impossible or impractical to convert.

On the other hand, the penalty for apostasy or blasphemy in Sharia is death. Do you really want to have a contract put out on your head?

You should never say, think or act in this kind of manner. It's totally haram(forbidful) for any Muslims to convert him/her self into any other religious believes. The consequences in your afterlife is just like people that commited suicide and Heaven is no place for such beings. As a muslim,i'd strongly advice you not to do this.May Allah forgive you.
