It is not that these liquids can hide bombs; the liquids are fine as they are except when added together their chemical compounds can create dangerous explosives. A terrorist need only walk into the airplane with the ingredients and simply combine them in the restroom.
If bombs managed to take up minute space so as to be hidden well through one's attire, it is only hidden from the naked eye. Technology is already in development in which x-rays can detect not just visual images of depth and shape, but also chemical components that are potentially dangerous - thus fulfilling a more thorough search of dry and liquid bombs. So, hiding them visually will not do in the very near future.

Since the powers that be rode in on white horses and snuffed out the most recent "terror plot," I'm sure they have time to cook up another genius scheme before they feel the need to scare everyone again. I doubt clothing will be used -- that one has already been tried in the form of shoes.

Doesn't matter what the government says we have to do. As long as I am not being blow up while I am flying ..... that is all that counts. They are doing a GREAT job.

That would be hard to do but we have some pretty sharp guys running security, (although sometimes it doesn't seem like it). I think they would figure it out in no time....I don't think America will be caught off guard again.
