i am a girl studying abroad alone in one of the universities when i met a guy from my country who seems to like my talking. he is so willing to give up his breaks so that he can talk with me. my problem is that i think that i mistake his behavior. why would he come and talk with me when he is surrounded by many beautiful girls. besides i think he misses our home country so he talks with me since we are from the same country and that is it. i feel i am attracted to him. he is 12 year older than me but we get along very well. i would like to hear your comments and advices please.

my advice to you would be for you to be very careful...how old are you? if you are under 18, and he is 12 years older, any flirtation or advances that he may be making toward you are inappropriate. Right now you are very vulnerable being alone, he may be targeting you because he knows this. Pay attention to his attitude...does he flirt with you as much as the other girls...do you feel that he may have something to gain from showing interest in you? take things slow, develop a casual relationship, and if he is legit then you will have taken the time to find out...if not, you didn't rush anything to get your heart broken or worse

Sounds like you've made yourself a good friend, someone who can give you a shoulder to lean on if you ever get homesick and someone who you have something in common with. Go for it, see where it leads!

first of all we all have free will, if he wants to give up his breaks to talk to you then enjoy. We all like to talk to people that we have things in common with. You are lucky to have someone to talk to, enjoy.
