You're right.
We've never seen anyone turn a tennis ball inside out without cutting it, but then we haven't been every place in the universe at every moment in the history of the universe, so how do we know that it's never happened?
Logic, that's how. We don't *have* to look everywhere, because we *know* that it's impossible.
Similarly for a god - We don't *have* to look for gods everywhere in the universe in order to prove they don't exist. We just need logic.
All reasoned arguments rely on axioms, i.e. things which we take to be true, but which are not amenable to proof. The most obvious axiom is the validity of reason itself - It is trivially obvious that we can't use a reasoned argument to prove that reason is valid, because we have to presume that reason is valid in order to make any kind of reasoned argument.
I have another axiom, which I'm sure no sane person would dispute: That the order and complexity that we see around us in the natural universe, and particularly in the intricate structure and functions of living organisms, could not possibly just exist fully formed, with no cause, no origin, no precursor of any sort. I can't *prove* that this is the case, but it seems inconceivable to me that anyone would dispute it.
So, the logical consequence of accepting this axiom is that, for the very same reason, it's not possible that the order and complexity of the universe is sourced in an intelligent deity who designed and made the universe and *himself* exists fully formed with no cause, no origin, no precursor of any sort. I don't think any reasonable person would dispute the axiom presented here, and acceptance of the axiom leads to an indisputable proof of the non-existence of an intelligent creator.
Anyone who (against all reason) asserted that the order and complexity we see in the universe *could* indeed exist fully formed with no cause and no origin, in order thereby to save the concept of an uncaused intelligent designer, would find that they had invalidated said designer by making him redundant - i.e. if the order and complexity of the universe could just exist fully formed and uncaused then it would not need (in fact, could not possibly have) a designer.
Either way, the concept of a creator is invalidated.

Have you ever thought that maybe GOD isn't this spiritual thing that everybody makes "Him" out to be.
We just can't relate to that. It is really hard at times. You just wish there were a little more information to grab on to because if it made a little more sense, we'd get on board! I understand where you are coming from... I've been there. Keep knocking on the door if you really wanna know, your heart will catch fire & burn, then you will learn.
....But who said all the religions, even the Christians got it right.
Step outside of all the religious boxes & see the big simple, plain as day picture.
It is what Christ told us about & what he represented but we fail to see it.... to busy focusing on the death to what IS alive.
I ask you, are you real? Then in some strange way God must be real but the link.... Where's the link? It's right there in your Bible. I promise. It took me 31 years to see but just about all those years I did seek.
Hey, I had alot of time on my hands! I was an only child of an alcoholic but loving parent with no Father. I remember when I was young child they always said, "God the Father" even in Catholic school so I did just assume Him as my own. Yeah, I was a crazy lonely kid but hey, I am one happy, peaceful adult, so I thank God "Normal" just never was for me!

I'm not saying I agree with any of this, but what did the scriptures mean by 'days', in the original language? Let's not forget that the Bible was originally Aramaic. 'Days' could actually mean 'ages', like for instance in the Quran.
Personally, I think that there is no need for a higher power to create the Universe as Big Bang theory, and the theoretical cyclic nature of the Universe's lifecycle fits just fine.

And if God was so real and so caring then why are there so many starving and dying people in this world, if he truly cared about what he created, then he'd pay more attention. THE WHOLE THING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!
because my firend, you don;t do anything to help them! you just keep whining why things are this and that...
its not important if God is real or not.... if your concern is people living in a disgusting way, find people like you and help them! not whine to things that you say you don't believe!!!
i'm a believer, and thinks also of those people in a bad situation... but unlike you! i don't whine, i TRY to help them as what God says..
as for you! then be human! and like for humanity's sake!

I spent most of my life believing the same as you; nothing made sense, nothing was logical, it was all hooey.
Then I began to listen to what others had to say about God and He began to soften my heart. Once I opened my mind and my heart to hear what He had to say, things began to clear up.
One of the things we have to realize is that God is not like us. He is God. He is all powerful and that is difficult for our weak human minds to fathom.
But think about this. Much of our "pop" culture revolves around "super heroes" and the fantasy world. We strive to accept these peculiarities as entertainment, but what we are really doing is reaching out to God with our hearts desires. We want to believe that there is something more powerful than us, more amazing than us, more dignified than us.
And there is. He is God.
He has always been, is and always will be.
No, I don't understand all of it and my mind can't fathom some of ity, but that's o.k. because He is so much larger than my mind can handle. I'll enjoy what I can understand and marvel at the rest! God is my "Super Hero" and I get the bonus that He is real, not a fantasy!

and as far as beleiving is concerned its not our problem u beleive or not. u will face ur Lord tomorrow, may be then others will ask this question to u.
wonder how people ask questions like these. who do u think is responsible for every breath of ur life if it was not god. who is responsible for ur heart to tick every fraction of a second.
this question has been around so many times, im fed up answering, plz post some new ?s .

Change your mind. Religion will NEVER give you a clue about God.
7 days my ***. You got a long way to go man. Start with asking yourself where you are from repetitively for an hour, acknowledge each answer, and end off when you really enlighten yourself to something you have never thought.
Then, try the question, who is the creator of all I see? Do this over and over until you finally get it.
Then you may realize simple green is people.

God makes total sense to me...He works beyond what our minds can imagine and He is all powerful, which is why he was able to create the universe in 7 days. Hard for human minds to understand. Since you don't believe in God, what do you believe in??? Big Bang??? If so, where did the elements that caused the big bang come from...let's say it happened, I would have to say that God created the gases that caused the big bang to happen. They didn't just show up!!!And before you ask, God was always here...Hard for simple human minds to grasp...He was always here.

Yes it is. But IT didn't create everything in 7 days.
That is just a story in human language to help people understand.
Why do people take the Bible so literally!?

I totally believe in god. The 7 days were not literal and even if they were an awesome power that is beyond our understanding could of course meet this deadline. Religion does make sense if you let yourself believe you have to allow yourself. I believe because the unanswered questions about god are trivial in comparison to the unanswered questions about evolution.
