The word "God" is a series of characters representing the idea of a supernatural being. The series of characters "G-d" are also representing the same idea...
What's up with people?

Lol... I had trouble finding the religion section to catagorize this in... wouldn't it be ironic if it was a subgroup of politics and givernment?

Okay lots of people has objections with this statement, and its fine by me to be corrected. They say they were never straight, at least not all. I love gay men especially because they are so fun to be wtih rather than to be with a straight guy, but i wasnt attracted to them (ah maybe just once, he looks so patrick swayze) however, can someone justify why some gay people were born gay? when was the first time you discovered you're a fab?

A good point was just brought up.
If God is omniscient, how did he not know Adam would be lonely by himself? He only realized this later, then made Eve.
How did he not know that Adam and Eve would sin?
He must have known, so why did he go through with it anyway?
How could an omniscient God forget things?

This word doesn't show up in the dictionary or spell check. I think I just invented a word to describe my philosophy.

anti-religionist

It means: One who opposes all religion.

We've heard of a home where the buffalo roam, and the deer and the antelope play. But seldom is heard of an encouraging word from hospitable dinosaurs suggesting where to stay. Tell us what highway is overrun by these reptiles.

I always end up doing or saying something I'd have better not said or done.

Recently I was at a wedding with my wife and we met a friend of her who was pregnant.
She started talking about her pregnancy and that she knew the baby was a boy, and everything was so marvelous and bla bla bla...
Another girl I didn't know joined the conversation, I look at her and saw she was pregnant too, so I said: "Oh! so this contagious...hahaha!"
Nobody seemed to hear waht I said, and they all kept talking, I didn't insist and started wandering why everybody was just ignoring me ....
After 2 mins this girls left and everybody went terribly serious:
"Never do that again!" said my wife.
"No!, Frankie, she was not pregnant!"

I might give u some other exemple but pls tell me about u first ...

...how many people here who criticize the 'foreigners' for being so bad in English have ever studied a second language and mastered it? So much so that they read/speak/type it perfectly ALL the time and NEVER make a mistake?

I'm studying a foreign language and often wonder how many people who speak that language would criticize me for grammatical/spelling errors when all I'm trying to do is learn how to communicate with them... My tutor often encourages me to communicate with his friends and family to sharpen my skills, and they never make fun of me for my mistakes. They encourage me to keep trying!

Do you ever wonder what kind of world this would be if people would just find something else to complain about? LOL

Scientologists even on this site keep trying to tell people that the South Park episode wasn't true and that isn't what they really believe concerning ancient alien space lords and alien souls attaching themself to your bodies...

However I have proof it is true...

It all came out in court, and the Church confirmed it was true. Here are the documents:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/index2.html

Every ex-member that was at OTIII or above also confirms the story of Xenu... Some people have the full scanned copy of it in Hubbard's own handwriting (this would be illegal to post at present).

Here's the first page...
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/OTIII/index.html

Yet I still see an experienced member of the Church saying it isn't true, why lie like this?

It is not the 'greatest good over the greatest number of dynamics'- aka no responsibility as long as you 'believe' you are doing good.

Do you think lying about this hurts scientology?
