Scientologists even on this site keep trying to tell people that the South Park episode wasn't true and that isn't what they really believe concerning ancient alien space lords and alien souls attaching themself to your bodies...
However I have proof it is true...
It all came out in court, and the Church confirmed it was true. Here are the documents:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/index2.html
Every ex-member that was at OTIII or above also confirms the story of Xenu... Some people have the full scanned copy of it in Hubbard's own handwriting (this would be illegal to post at present).
Here's the first page...
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/OTIII/index.html
Yet I still see an experienced member of the Church saying it isn't true, why lie like this?
It is not the 'greatest good over the greatest number of dynamics'- aka no responsibility as long as you 'believe' you are doing good.
Do you think lying about this hurts scientology?

Thanks for proving my point Foxtail...
Scientologists won't confront the evidence, and instead seek to attack the critic with logical fallacies like personal attacks just like Hubbard told them to. You are a typical scientologist, well done.

Thanks Gandalf for letting me know what you think of it... (and by ommision I take it you don't think much of it)
But I asked why does scientology keep denying the story?
And so you only think the initial courses are worth it? Was there a particular reason you didn't continue if it was truly so good?
You do realise scientologists work towards and are encouraged to take the OT levels? The Church sells the Bridge for thousands and is highly marketed to all scientologists.

I have experienced it, I have family in it, I have read Hubbard's work.

And yes I have been to all those websites.
When I research something i look at both sides, pro and con then make my mind up...
For me all the official documented evidence shows the CofS to be a destructive cult.

And for the record I do agree that psychiatry & the mental health organisations do need to do more, and sometimes abuses may occur - although very rarely.
However, I do not agree with Hubbard that they are evil 'psychs' that have been plotting the demise of human spirituality for eons.

Religous Freedom Watch is actually full of lies, and I cannot find hardly anything to support any of there claims.

Thank you for making this info available to the public. Thank you for taking the time to care. Whe I was 11 yo I was attracted to scientologoly via the dianetics books, but my mother was smart enough to yell Cult. And tell me to stay away ans say those people will not let go of a person if one gets the tinest bit involved.
You are doing a service. I never stopped believing South Park, but what should we expect for a shchizphrenic science FICTION Writer. I am not meaning to insult the schizophrenic people of the world as it is a medical condtion which is treatable with proper conventional medication and therapy. Scientology Kills the mentally ill.
Thanks for taking the time to save lives and stop homes from being wrecked. Yeah lying does hurt it, and so doe Tom Cruise, but they do not seem to care about that.
Hopefully we can have our 1st lawsuit against the organisation that wins money. Tons of money and bleeds the beast scientology is. The only way to get at organizations and people with no compassion is to hit them in the wallet really hard.
Any big hits you know of. Have the ever been sued sucessfully for !K or more? It will happen soon if the keep endangering the lives of others.
How about a new fundraiser Free Katie and then you can advertize the Zenu site or whatever.

Ive seen all that. Why do I care?
If I go to a priest for help in something then I dont care whats written about what the pope believes. .ne
All I ever said is that the courses are excellent. And that its not some "trap" that you cant get out of. And not some "gonna make you broke" scheme. At least it obviously was none of those things for me or anyone else I know.
If someone ever wants to be an OT3 or whatever its called at the top of the church then ask them about it. Since scientology doesnt make you believe it to take the courses then its just alot of debate that shows up in questions where I dont think it fits what was asked. If a real person is asking for questions from real people then site ads are kinda pushing it.
Its not the subject I mind. Its the tactics. Id feel the same way about any subject whether I liked it or not. Anti-christian in christian quesitons, or anti-smoking jumping in with long posts on a smoking question, or al-anon in a wine making question, or peta in a hunting question. Or for that matter if a scientologist pasted a pageful into every psycho-drug question (do they?)

Yeah I dont think much of it. Or no more than I think about what any other religion believes.
I dont think Ive heard anyone deny anything but I generally ignore the banter between xenu site reps and pro-scientology site reps. I dont know why someone denys whatever. Isnt there a diffreence between denying and not acknowledging? I hope someone discusses it with you. Its like asking me why the pope keeps saying mary magdelene wasnt married to christ. (yes I know but its the same "so many people say so" support)
I think I already said I couldnt cut the study course. Great course, but then I didnt do too well on many courses. In fact its about the same "score" I had with college :)
And the last thing about them pitching the OT courses, oh well. The catholic church pitches monk hood and nun hood, and they give up alot more. It doesnt mean anyone has to do it.
You know you can email me. Im a real person with a real email
edit:
This has made me realize something though. I cant expect what I dont give. So from now on I will try to avoid jumping into scientology questions where the person obviously is only interesting in hearing the bad stuff that is said. I will leave that to those who best provide it. Then maybe I could expect the same on the flip side.

If they don't deny it then they won't be able to con new members into joining the religion. Really, do you think the type of people who would fall for for that Scientology crap would the the same type who would research the religion first? I doubt it, they have to prey on the weak minded in order to gain new members.

I've visited Xenu.net and I've watched the South Park episode, and I don't think much of those who attack Scientologists. In my opinion, those who attack Scientology are not numerous, but are a very vocal bunch of anti-religious extremists. These people are exposed for what they are on Religious Freedom Watch. And yes, Religious Freedom Watch is run by Scientologists but who else do you expect to be most concerned with anti-Scientology bigotry?
Scientology is about doing good. Scientologists are responsible for numerous social betterment activities. I've seen in many of your posts you attack Scientologists for not visiting your links. I have visited your links. But have you visited any Scientology links? Websites like Scientology.org, What is Scientology or Scientology Religion? Have you ever been to the websites of Scientology's social betterment organizations: Narconon's website? Criminon? The Way to Happiness Foundation? Applied Scholastics? Youth for Human Rights? Have you read any Scientology books like "New Slant on Life," "Dianetics," or "The Problems of Work"? I think you could learn something. But what I wonder is if you just want to bash other people's religions.
And as far as my posts about mental health, there are many experts including psychiatrists and medical doctors and people from all religious faiths who are concerned about psychiatric abuse and who advocate more holistic alternatives. I actually exercise and take vitamins myself for anxiety and depression, so my advice comes from personal experience and my research.
Why don't you learn about Scientology from Scientology sources instead of "anti" websites? Why don't you go to your local org and talk to some people. Scientologists are human beings you know.

Scientology... (the franchise.. where to begin.. a little pre- and post- background)
Jesus's view is actually that of the mythology and religions that superceded the Bible and Christianity hundreds of years later.. The Old Testament is essentially the Torah.. which came from thousands of years prior... Zoroastrianism.. the Babalonian myths, the Egyptians, etc... The New testament is just writings edited by the Catholic Church over hundreds..thousands of years.. first actualy "printed" as the King James bible in the 1600's..
L.R.Hubbard.. well he has made a killing in CA.. no doubt..
Let me start by stating I was raised in Methodist/Protestant church.. EVERY Sunday.. reading from the alter and helping in all services.. until I was 18. Then I married into a Catholic family.. with a Deacon Father.. (that was a real joke getting that inside scoop.. talk about denial ..being hypocrates..?sp..).. since then.. I've read all philosophers.. all religious texts.. all prior major world mythology, major psychology/psychiatry texts, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, paleontology, cosmology/astronomy, etc...
to make my own conclusions which are without a doubt facts to me.
ANYWAY..: Well.. were to start... the answer is as simple as essentially the history of religion.. how it evolved simply from Mythology to formal theology.. from the explanation of many unknowns with many gods (sun, rain, moon...20K-50K+ yrs ago..which is shown with archeology) which over time were peeled back from Paganism to Monotheism.. Christianity being one of the most dominant forms.. with the help of the Romans ac cross Europe.. converting Celtics, Normans, and others by turning their local gods into "Saints".. and then of course the Crusades and Inquisitions... Missionaries.. essentially forcing it upon the majority of the world with the help of the Spanish Conquistadors among others... killing out all the varied religions that dominated the world from the Far East to the Far West. and everywhere in between... displacing beautiful cultures and lifestyles.. (Native Americans, African tribal cultures, etc.. etc..) with Forced labor (Slavery) alcoholism, etc...
The majority of the world is religious by default in that the CAN'T UNDERSTAND the world around us.. they don't have any BASIC UNDERSTANDING of physics, biology, evolution, probability / statistics, chemistry, astronomy, etc.... Without the understanding.. the greatest FEAR that humans have is the FEAR of THE UNKNOWN... aka.. the defense mechanism of the psyche is denial by default.. so that their "foundation of existence" isn't displaced.. It is soo.. sooooo.. seemless and beautifull in that fossil evidence, DNA sampling, the study of the cosmos, etc.. etc.. ALL points to the simple fact that everything evolves/changes... and that EVERYTHING on earth that's not LIFE or Molecular Minerals... is MAN MADE and evolves (mythology, religion, language, culture, laws/rules, definition of Good/Bad, clothing, shelter, tools, barter/money/economics, etc.. etc...). Crack open ANY college biology book and you'll now see clear explanations that life evolved from essential basic molecular structurs (proteins..amino acids..) to RNA .. to DNA.. to Single Celled and Multicelluar organisms.. to plants.. to animals.. to vertibrates.. to fish.. to amphibians.. to reptiles.. to Mamals.. to Primates .. to US (Humans are Primates and Mamals.. we are all ANIMALS.. get over the denial !!!!).
Education of the world.. and "open Minded" cultures.. accepting and not repressing the truth.. will eventually turn the tide.. but for now... the minority are the ones that know the truth and know that the ONLY God that there exists is the one we invent and evolve in our consciousness... along with how we attempt to explain the world around us.. though most of it's entirely out of our control.. via random events and chaos theory dominating the world...
It's funny that most baptize their children under peer pressure of culture/society's acceptance.. as well as appeazing that of the relatives / parents wishes... vs. not being affraid to have an open mind and ask "WHY" once and a while.. and making decisions for themselves.. instead of being led.
The only destiny we have is the one that we carve via the decisions that we make (or dont make) and the actions that we take (or don't take)... God.. the big "man floating around the cosmos".. is as much a mass dillusion.. synonymous with Santa Clause, the tooth fairy, the boogy man... mother earth, fairy's... and on and on... Ways to control populations with cause/effect fear/reward systems.. as well as a simple "blanket answer" to explain ALL the worlds unknowns.. for the feeble minded masses.. as simply explained as "ignorance is bliss"... the drooling masses might be happy suckin on their thumbs and being told to eat and sleep and pay taxes.. simply .. most are followers.. not free thinkers.. unable to handle the truth without first laying that foundation of understanding.
The same can be said of wars.. most go back to fundamental issues.. my god is better than my god.. I'll get more virgins and whirly gigs than you will in the end.... which is all soooo funny. The end is when each of us decays and our molecules get recycled into other lifeforms... as how all the metals in the solar system came from internals of stars.. billions of years ago.. and someday in ~4+ billion years.. this solar system will be recycled.. as galaxies are and now found.. likely infinite arrays of universes as string theory and m-theory is showing...
