We've heard of a home where the buffalo roam, and the deer and the antelope play. But seldom is heard of an encouraging word from hospitable dinosaurs suggesting where to stay. Tell us what highway is overrun by these reptiles.

Isn't there a highway in Montana near the 'badlands' ... you know where they find all the dinosaur fossils? There's all these dinosaur sculptures at motels along the highway, I saw it on "America on the road" on Discovery channel... maybe that's your highway.

I'd suggest any Highway dissecting Montana or Wyoming because both have great Dinosaur Digs and there must be a major highway roiling by but I am too lazy to look at an Atlas. Alas I could suggest Route 66 since a lot of 'Dinosaurs' have roamed along - - - rock n' rollers for decades ago blowing with the stinging south wind.

Route 66 ( ??? )

The La Brea Tar Pits aren't on a highway from what I can tell, so don' think thats the clue.

Route 66 cuts thru the area of the country where fossils have been located so that's my best guess.

Oh show me a home where the mastadons roam,
And the raptors and T-rexs play,
In the primeval soup, where the tree ferns do droop
On the old prehistoric highway.

I think Cassie meant *encouraging* re read the sentence.

I too am too lazy to get up and look but this is a good question. So what is the answer?

It's a "discouraging" word, not an "encouraging" word. Otherwise, I have no idea what you are talking about or why you would bother posting this.
