1) do you think he is a person of religion?
2) what if he has another religion?
3) I’m a person that likes to bother other people in the morning eh?
4) would i like my self to be knocked at 1 in the morning? to talk about religion?

They want to spread their false religion. What they need is the Word of God. I get frustrated as well...

Most Christians don't go with the door to door approach anymore, it is probably Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses. Even so, I am a Christian and don't believe that knocking on doors of people's houses is a good way to spread the 'Good News'. I have had it done to me at 7:30 in the mourning. My response was thus, "Come on in! I was getting ready for my daily goat sacrifice to the pagan God's, and by the way are any of you a virgin?" Not very Christ like, but dog gone funny! I am sorry that someone of the Christian faith is bothering you and making a bad name for the rest of us.

Jehovah's Witnesses again? I really hate it when they come round 'cos they know I'm too polite to slam the door in their face! I end up standing there, trying not to buy into anything and trying to think of an excuse to close the door... why don't they just get a real job instead of cramming religion down people's throats?

They're called evangelists. Probably mormons. Or Hindu. Either way, sorry - they were just doing what they thought was their calling. I had the same issues with them a few months back, 2 mormon guys wanting to discuss faith with me - its hard if you put yourself in their shoes. Rejection is painful if they get negative and violent responses from the people on the other side of the door they knock on.

IT is their job. They are trying to convince you to join their church. I don't mind it at all. Even the time doesn't bother me. Unfortunately most of the kids who come to the door do not know their religion well enough to discuss it in detail and they usually lose out. But they tried! They are mostly good kids.

All they want is to spread the Good News to the people and inculcate the lost values like Love,friendship,compassion,respect which are almost lost in this world!

If it's a Jehovah's Witness, I wonder why they bother? Aren't there only about 6,000 or so "seats" in heaven to them? Less competition!
