Biblically the rainbow is a symbol of God's promise never to flood the earth again. And according to my knowledge a triangle no matter the color is just a shape.

Why is it that Homosexual need a shape at all? Heterosexuals don't have a symbol of pride and we do just fine.

Us Americans are often criticized, especially by Europeans, for not making an effort to learn languages other than English. My theory on this is that geographically, we are too far apart from Europe for it to really matter. It just isn't practical as an American to learn a new language (Unless you travel a lot, and Spanish being an exception). Europeans border countries who speak many languages, so it is practical for them to learn them. I personally would like to learn a 2nd, or even third language, but I don't think the criticism directed towards Americans is really fair. What are your thoughts?

It should be a non issue. And even if they ever pass a law that would permit it, I , as a member of the clergy refuse to ever porvide my services to such madness.

The bible infers that the divine plan is already laid out.
That would mean that god knew that original sin would take place.

So that would make god just another dictator, attention starved and narcissistic

I feel like such a loser for never getting a degree in college. I have my lisence in cosmetology and Im making okay money working in an office as an administrative assistant. But most people I know have gotten their degrees, and I feel like im not as good. Is this silly, or should I not worry about it so much?

I am an atheist. I love to learn about other religions though, I took religion in collage. And I have no problem when other people believe in fact sometimes I am jealous because the have something that they can believe in and I just can’t do it. I can’t bring my self to believe in a God who is invisible that has the power to send my to a wonderful place called heaven or a fiery place called hell. I tried for many years but felt like I was lying to my self. I’m some what of a closet atheist because I haven’t had the heart to tell my grandparents who are devote Catholics, although they know I don’t attend church, they just think that I’m not interested in going, not that I don’t believe in God. SO please tell me what you believe in. Is there anyone out there that believes like I do?

Yesterday at my friend's church (pentecostal), they were doing this thing where you get the holy spirit. I tried, but I didn't feel anything and I couldn't cry like they did or speak in tongues like the did. What do you do?????? I was soooooo confused. I knew i wanted to do it but i didnt know how.
