I just moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada last Sunday from my favourite city on earth - Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. So far I don't know a whole lot about it but I'd say that it's really nice because it seems like the whole city is in the city if that makes any sense.... it's all very close instead of having a huge suburban area. To me the worst part is my family doesn't live here and I've also heard that the winters here suck pretty much, lots of snow and very cold. That's not going to be really fun since I already drive about 2 1/2 hours a day between home and work locations then 2 1/2 hours back. So far it's not too bad though, I'm starting to like it a bit.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

diversity, tree/park town, easy communiting within
city limits, art fairs, festivals, the Ark, great schools,
low crime, job opportunities galore
Worst: Cost of living is expensive, taxes are high, parking
tickets in a blink of an eye if you're not careful,
long winters.

I live in San Francisco.

The best attributes are the geographical beauty, weather, low crime, abundance of culture, openness to diverse racial and lifestyle backgrounds, great restaurants: everything one needs in 49 square miles.

The worst attributes are the homeless problem and cost of living.

Atlanta

Best-It is cheap compared to most American cities, Six Flags.

Worst-lack of urban flavor, rampant urban sprawl(hence why Atlanta is the posterchild for urban sprawl), bad air pollution(rivals that of LA),allegies, racism(particularly in the far outskirt counties(Paulding, Forsyth)), and you always have to have a car wherever you go, and the summers are too humid and hot. I like hot and dry summer better.

The best would be that it's in the midst of revitilization... the worst would be that the crime level (in a certain part of the city) is still high and the taxes are outrageous...

Suburban Dallas, TX.

Best - winters, cost of living is reasonable (we can still find gas for $2.86, even today), generally friendly people.

Worst - public transportation (or the lack thereof!), drought, and the high heat this summer.
