I recently asked if "deeds" or "born-again" or both are the key to attaining heaven. Interestingly, it seemed only Christians answered and all gave reference that "knowing Jesus" was the answer and nearly all gave reference.

I would still like to hear opinions and interprutation of Matthews 25, 31-40. It seems to me that Jesus returns and seperates those who will attain heaven from those that will not and basically tells them that it was "deads" that they performed. In verse 37, one of the righteous asks, when did we do good deeds for Jesus. This seems to me to indicate that some did not know Jesus. So how is it that Jesus was willing to "save" them and offer heaven?

I'm curious to responses. Just trying to generate some discussion. What do you think it means? Why was it inserted into the Bible. It must have some relevance.

Yet another form of hyporisy.
And i am for neither.

I was looking at these forums and noticing a trend...
If a guy is fantasizing about another woman (not wife
or gf ) and masturbating or staring at her what have
you it is okay...

However i came across a few questions about
some guys girlfriend whom he caught her masturbating
to the picture of some male celebrity. He was really
ticked off, a bunch of guys answered saying to dump
her because he should be the only eye candy for
her and she doesn't love him. Gee where have
I heard this before?

Maybe both sexes should refrain from this behavior
when they are married if it hurts the others feelings
but geez why are men so hypocritical about it.
Its okay and natural for them but not women?
When a woman does it its betrayal? How is
it not betrayal when he does it?

either way its wrong behavior no matter who
is doing it.

I see nudity everywhere these days, and although I do have some strong feelings about it, there are certain things I don't understand and I want your opinion(s) on it.

When I use to view modern nudity, I accepted it as it was, but I started to feel sinful when I acted like it was no problem. Now that I feel bad about it, I feel like no matter the situation, a person bares their soul. The problem is, I like people who feel free this age and people who express themselves. Nudity makes me feel too happy, but then I feel like a pervert for liking it for something.

I accept artistic nudity and old nude photos from pre-80s eras don't please me, but I reject porno mags and the fact that so many people use nudity to advertise as well as people who use it to get attention.

To me, nudity isn't normal, but can't be avoided as it pops up on newstands, posters, t.v., and online. I can try to accept it, but I feel like I'm setting a bad example if I embrace nude art or a nude lifestyle.

I yelled stuff at random people on th estreet and called them homeless, I told my best friend it was ok if he never wanted to call me again, I fell off a chair...several times...deliberately, at a restaurant, then I threw up...I'd eaten Chinese buffet earlier...which was gross.

I was at this 24 hour restaurant the other day, and these drunk club girls came in, and one sat at a table that wasn't cleaned yet and started eating the leftover food and drinking the water! Then her friends made fun of her and she threw the water on her! Then they had to leave before the cops came!

Quite funny, it was my birthday too!

Is blind faith in a god who cannot be questioned a good thing? Should we not question our beliefs and faith systems? Could it not be possible that things we believe are true are also contradictory, and therefore not right for us?

A god that is omnipotent surely can be questioned, as there will only be answers improving our understanding of that god, right? So by being unquestionable, does that mean that that god is fallible?

There is this girl here who answers a lot of questions, she says she is bi. Although everytime she answers a question, she totaly bags on the gay community, whats up? She says that she was a devout christian until satan luered her away and now she lives in sin, yet she apperantly continues to do it. When someone askes a poingnint quetion, she bashes gays and talkes about how rude, loud, flambouyant, and condescending we are, yet she claims to be one of us. She does not stand up for any of our rights as human beings, yet she claims to be one of us. I'm confused, what is she doing, or trying to do here? She says shes a stripper from WA that used to be christian but is now bi. I think she's biwashington-something. Whats going on here??!!!

First of all, the lack of a case for evolution is clear from the fact that no one has ever seen it happen. If it were a real process, evolution should still be occurring, and there should be many "transitional" forms that we could observe. I hear them all the time here on answers, they seem to hate Christians, God, the bible...so I thought I'd find out about them...and this is what I've seen and heard from them.

1. No schools or universities built
2. They have built no hospitals
3. They don't feed the poor (or don't know where they do
4. They don't believe in God
5. They don't believe in Jesus
6. They don't believe the bible
7. They seem to only say nasty critical things to
anyone who does any of (1-6)
8. They have no direction other than love of self
9. They believe they are their own God.
10. They seem to offer society ZERO...nothing
other than tearing others down.

And they insist they can think on there own as if they are a big boy or girl.

Have I missed anything?
