If heaven and hell do exist why is it that we only get two choices? It seems so unfair; I really don’t want to go to either place. I would much rather be flying around the Universe exploring and seeing a bunch of cool stuff for all eternity. Please don’t tell me something stupid like you will know all of these things, because you don’t know. There is a big difference between physically experiencing things and being some mystical vapor floating around in heaven. I want to learn things and experience them on my own. What is so wrong with that?

In my opinion, religion is just a way to answer all of the questions that we couldnt figure out. Since we couldnt figure out the answer, to, say, how the world was created, we made up a God that supposedly created the whole universe out of nothing.

I hate to admit it but I think we white people are really a bunch of arrogant, inconsiderate, spoiled pricks. Sometimes I can't stand looking in the mirror thinking what some of my brethren have done throughout history, and continue to do today.

I guess this makes me a reverse-racist. Who's with me on this? Not necessarily just white people; anyone feel free to jump in.

I ASKED EARLIER ABOUT ANGELS POSSIBLY BEING THE STARS. MANY PEOPLE DID NOT "GET" MY QUESTION. THE BIBLE SOMETIMES SEEMS TO INTERCHANGE THE TWO. THERE ARE MANY CONNECTIONS BETWEEN SPACE AND OUR WORLD. i have so much to offer to the world, but because i seem to get the heat up whenever i'm around, i'm not having any luck getting a job. i don't know how to keep my knowledge to myself so they say i'm a know it all, but i'm sharing in pure innocents. i love to know how, why, what , and i mean about everything for no reason.( just becuase.) but it makes lots of people mad when u correct them, or even let on to the fact that you know anything at all. and it seems i always have to prove myself to be correct. by then it's all not even worth my kind though of sharing something that thought would have been appriciated. i need some advice on how i can accomplish my goals. i would like to use my intellegence without being insulted, as well as continue to learn and perfect my many differnt skills

I am 19. He is 25. I saw his profile on myspace. I like this guy and I would like to befriend him or even get into deeper realtionship. We know each other from the same job, though we work at different departments. We just started to get to know each other. At the beggining I suggest if we might hang out somewhere together. However he claimed he has no time for that. And he said it is nothing personal it is just time. Well at the beginning he did not wanted to say too much words to me. Now he even asked how am I doing. It happened since I told him I'm interested to go to gay bar. Personally he is gay. I am gay or bi. I wished I could meet him personally but how to ask him for that. At this time I think he just tries me to shunt me ( I mean send me away with no hurt). What I should ask him? By the way he studies psychology and I go for computer science.

I have seen several posts with an interesting rhetorical strategy:

The poster will say that "the devil/Satan 'believes in' God"

Does this mean that he simply believes that God exists?

Or do they (Satan and his legions) truly believe IN God, just like theists believe IN God and Christians believe IN Jesus?

This is also used as a defense that belief IN God is not sufficient to gain entry into heaven: Satan believes IN God but cannot go to Heaven. So I am led to believe that Satan may believe IN God the same way that theists do.

Doesn't saying "believe in" imply more than just a "belief of" something? I'm not playing semantic games here; I really would like to know.

ALL banks have and provide debit cards...
yet the person in front of me in line INSISTS on writing a check...
and they don't even BEGIN the freakin check until every single item(all 420)of them is scanned...you can fill out the date,the store,memo line and your signature at the very least while your waiting...WHY DO PEOPLE STILL WRITE CHECKS???
please someone give me a good reason...and I think they should have a CHECK WRITING ONLY LINE,SO ALL THE CHECK WRITERS CAN STAND BEHIND EACH OTHER TO SEE WHAT IT'S LIKE !!!
