It's a question that all of my roommates and I have pondered for years, and i just found this site, so now i can ask more of humanity. Also, tell me why christians feel that their religion must be forced on others. They offer a working toilet and some food to a 3rd world country, only if they take the creator of the christians. It doesn't seem right. Why can't people just offer these things to those who need them, and not ask anything else of them?

God cast Lucifer/Satan, and all his followers out of heaven for questioning his authority. I was raised catholic, currently an agnostic, and I know all the athiest arguments for why this question is moot.

Intelligent Design has been lauded in recent years as providing a much needed balance to the teaching of evolution. However, it's argument is very arbitrary in nature. Another alternative, and one we likely would see if Intelligent Design were admitted into the classroom, is the following:

75,000,000 years ago a being named Xenu ruled the Galactic Confederacy. When Xenu was close to being overthrown by a revolution he devised a plan to eliminate the excess populations of people under his dominion. With the aid of psychiatrists he drugged billions of people and then loaded them on space planes to be exterminated on a planet known as Teegeeack (Earth).

After reaching Teegeeack, the people were unloaded and placed around volcanoes ... then the volcanoes were blown high by implaced hydrogen bombs. Only a relatively few physical bodies survived.

The Thetans (souls of the dead bodies) were then brainwashed and later clustered into the surviving bodies.

being Jewish has helped me see to read the bible-and it points to Jesus-Micah 5vs 1&2 predicted the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem and be from eternity -heaven (700bce predicted) only pure Jesus born as promised to a virgin by a sing (miracle) and would be God with us (Isaiah 7 vs 16),
well about Marijanna-people break the law to get it-and it has destroyed so many lives already-not counting the criminals that sell it-it destroys the brain-and some say its spirtual but the same is said of alchohol-im going to get some spirits-they are not the spirit of God. getting high breaking the law and destroying their minds -is better than the high of knowing and serving Jesus-ive tried both-only Jesus works and is legal-now i seek one true princess that feels just like i do-i prayed to get help as a Jew to find the Messiah-believing Jewish Jesus! Rev. 3 vs 19&20 he Knocks to come in us
my prayer-Jesus im sorry for my sins against you & breaking the law -which u said dont-help meAmen

I work on a barge where many of the men are from Honduras and Mexico and only a few speak English. They work here to support their families back home and I'm becoming friends with them. I know there's a lot of questions about immigration, but these guys aren't immigrating, just working. I'm even trying to learn a little spanish on internet to speak with my new friends. But the minute they leave my work area, my co-workers start saying things like "Fu***ng ******* go home", or "Learn English ******". These are good guys with only a language barrier separating us. What would you tell your co-workers?

Muhammad grew up worshipping many pagan gods in the Kabah including the moon, either called Hubal and Allah. After his conversion to monotheism, through the influence of Christians, Muhammad stopped worshiping the moon. The same is true for all Muslims since, down to the present day. However, the crescent moon is the universal symbol of Islam. Muslims will argue that there is no archeological evidence for the crescent moon symbol being used in Islam for the first few centuries after Muhammad. Yet Muslims also claim that Koran in its completed form existed in the time of Muhammad, yet there is no archeological evidence for this claim either. What we can be sure of, is the moon worship was more prevalent in Arabia than any other part of the world and that the symbol of the crescent moon has been used by the Arab religions as far back as the time of Abraham. It is a falsification of history to think there is no connection with the history of the crescent moon symbol of pagan moon god worship and Islam. The fact remains that most Arab/Muslim countries today still use the crescent moon symbol on their flags and atop of their mosques. The connection is so powerful that only the blind would reject any connection.

Search any question on evolution. You'll notice among the answers that the people that are against evolution share a common trait. They contain factual errors, common misconceptions, stupid abbreviations and are chock full of ad hominem, a common one might be

"Can u see I ain't a dum as$ monkey"

or

"Evolution is just a theory"

However, when you read a proponent of evolution's post, it generally cites aspects of the debate like the Cambian explosion, vestigial structures, the fossil record and the geologic column.

Could this indeed be evolution in action?
