There is a very fine line I think. I personally will opt for being modest, but sadly that's interpreted sometimes as lack of confidence. So how does one speak with confidence but doesn't appear to be bragging? And how do we recognize that a person is just bragging?

Any thoughts?

My best friend or at least we concider ourselfs to be best friends... was married in April well she married a guy that she had only know for about 6 or 8 months seriously. She in my mind did not love him, but did it because they have the same religion. They are Johovah's Witnesses. I have nothing against this at all! We really did not talk as much because her job made her travel all the time so when we did talk we talked for hours and hours. Well she got married and I was not allowed to be in her wedding. I am assuming because of her religion, but I was never told point blank that it was the religion. She did not include me in anything in her wedding not even tieing a bow on her favors.
Now I am getting married in 2 weeks. She is not in my wedding but at the same time someone told me she would not be able to be in my wedding because it is going to be held in a church. She is not in it, but I did give her a choice to be in it.

I know this should go under the music catergory but I wanted a wider audience.

Think of a couple of tunes that you really like or your favourite, it can be more than one, ten or twenty!!! Then think of YOUR moment when that music would really mean something.... Think about it carefully.

Please respond....Where did the original matter (the building blocks of life) come from? To say "it was always there" is not a satisfactory answer.That your theory cannot answer that, in my mind, kills it right there. But wait, there's more!When you look at the way our bodies work, that we are just the right distance from the sun not to freeze or burn up, that we have food provided all around us, that water nourishes life, that we have a thin protective layer around the earth that sustains our life, that we have a heart and spirit, and can reason, speak and have profound relationships - doesn't that speak to a wonderful, loving, creative designer? Scientists have calculated that the chance of all the things we know happening on their own is over 1,000,000,000 to one You wouldn't dream of taking a bet like that.The evolution/creation argument is a spiritual battle - because if you believe in Creation, you have to have believe in a creator, and many cannot break down thier pride to do so

There are many lies floating around about Islam and Muslims. This is because ignorant and racist people & media want to label all Muslims as being the same as the terrorists. They even invent lies about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), The Kaba and God Himself, saying Allaah is a moon god?!?!? And somehow these people claim to know more about Islam than Muslims?? In fact, they are the most ignorant of all humanity!!

Are you able to see past all of the lies and propaganda against Muslims who have nothing to do with terrorism and want peace like everyone else? Or have you been brainwashed. Negative answers will be from the brainwashed. Thanks in advance to the truly open minded and open hearted.

I know it sounds messed up, but it is the truth. The first few times I was aware of this happening, I convinced myself that it was just a vivid dream. but to many things have happened. this has been going on for over a year. After a long period of unlucky events I decided to travel for some time , it was when I left everything behind when my mind keep giving messages about what I should be doing next ,and they were really accurate .., it was like daydreaming all the time, this lasted until a few months after I came back home , but now it seems is not there anymore , Books , meditation and relaxing exercises don't seem to work, any ideas welcome
