I believe in my religion because it promotes acceptance and morality, plus it rings true in my heart. I find happiness when I follow my religion and I feel chaotic and negative when I stray. Maybe I had a fear of death in the beginning of my adolescence, but now it's about community and giving the same sense of peace to people that have felt the same way.

I've been a devout Athiest for over 50 years and I just don't want any part of religion. BUT... some people need to have that belief in something greater than theirselves... I just don't happen to be one of them

Sometimes they can't help it. Recent studies have shown that being very religious has genetic components. I feel sorry for those poor people.

because i dont want to believe that after we die i wont go anywhere that i stop existing that thats it.
