No, Jesus was talking about how we are spiritually dead since our sin separates us from God, the source of life. When God gives a believer the Holy Spirit, He regenerates us and we are a new creation in Christ.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Ephesians 2:1-2 And you hath he quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Dead Sea Scrolls indicate that Jesus was a leader among the Jewish sect known as Essenes, although Christianity as a whole reject this idea --for much the same reason the Jews rejected Jesus: it doesn't fit in with their preconceived ideas about what the messiah is supposed to be.
Essenes were vegetarians who knew about REINCARNATION, and taught healing and peace.
As a matter of fact, Judaism has always accepted reincarnation, but early Christian leaders set up the church to give themselves exclusive, dictatorial control over the souls of men. Only they could read and interpret the ancient writings (and delete and modify scriptures which undermined their authority).
Modern day Christianity refuses to believe Jesus was an Essene and a Reincarnationist, but their inability to accept Jesus as he really was doesn't change the truth.
Verily, verily, you must be born again. Verily, verily = truly, literally. They corrupted the interpretation but not the message. Reincarnation is the only religious value which is capable of honoring God as an absolutely just and perfect entity. Organized religions make God out to be an ignorant, vindictive monster. Reincarnation is the only religious value which makes sense of life and the cosmos.

I dont think reincarnation is the same as being born again. Jesus talks about being born again within us - the inside man - spiritually. This is about making a decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour and Lord - Once you do that you become a new person and this can now be manifested physically. We all have sinned and fail to reach perfection, but the good thing is God has made it easy for us. We do dont have to work for salvation - for he has already given His son Jesus Christ to come down from His thrown and die for ALL our sins. Not only did He die but He rose from the dead and has now given us His Holy Spirit to help us walk this life. Though we are not perfect but we can stand justified - that is as if we never sinned. Its only by His grace that we are saved.

Hello friend,
You can find the exact conversation between Jesus and brother Nick about the new Birth (being Born Again) in John chapter 3.
A careful study will show that being Born Again and reincarnation are diametrically apposed one to another.
In reality there is no such thing as reincarnation.
The most important thing you'll ever know in this life, is Jesus Christ and what He says about being Born Again.
God bless.
(2 Tim. 2:7)

no. That deals with a different religion. When Christ said in the Bible, you would be born again, he meant you would become a new person in him. When u commit yourself to Christ, your old self dies- the person that u were with all your bad thoughts, actions, etc. You become a new person in Christ. Jesus looks at u as a new person, cleansed on the inside, pure. He doesn't see u as the person u were before. Your whole life changes when you become a Christian. There is nothing quite like it.

No, a living person can be born again. You become a new creature in Christ Jesus. You have to physically die to reincarnate.Christians do not believe in reincarnation.

Reincarnation is not even scriptual. Being born again means to be saved. Your mom gave you a earthly birth but Jesus gives us a heavenly birth.

Not physically. Jesus was referring to a spiritual rebirth. Where your soul goes from living for the flesh and starts living for Jesus and God.
