No. The Bible is a history report, not a future report.

No, there is no reference to this battle, although the long-running bitterness between the nations is mentioned many times.

I've done an exhaustive amount of research on end times events; a military strike against Lebanon by Israel is not in any of the prophesies; but not all battles are in the Bible!

Lebanon's near-destruction by plague and the sword are mentioned in Ezekiel 28, but this prophecy does not pertain to current events. Read Isaiah 23 for a similar prophecy. It is possible that Ezekiel 28 goes hand-in-hand with Ezekiel 38/39, but we probably won't know for sure until it happens.

For this reason, I believe the next Biblical prophecy related to battle that will be fulfilled is Ezekiel 38 and 39. Several portions of Daniel suggest that the Antichrist will be secretly involved with this invasion of Israel; he will then use his influence to gain additional power and establish the One World Government.

Thankfully, the Rapture will occur before these prophesies are fulfilled.

Really interesting question - and the answer is yes, there is! Prophecy is largely about the area we call the Middle East.

If you think about the history of the Jews - their dispersion, persecution and then re-gathering, you'll find that prophecied in the Old Testament. The Bible has a great principle of judging whether a prophecy is true, by testing the ones before it - so, just as we know what has happened to the Jews in the past - we have rely on the view of what is happening now.

Matthew 24 v 4 onwards is really useful - if you have a Bible to hand, have a look specifically at verses 16 and 17. It says that these times will be before the return of Jesus. I think what we are seeing now is the political manouvering to get us to this point.

well The Bible does not reference this war by a name if that is what you mean. The prophecy's of Israel becoming a nation, the European union and many others are relevant and show that we are close to the end. This is not the battle of Armageddon yet, but this war COULD be the one that ushers in the one world Govt. Only God knows the exact time, but all of the signs are all there. The Great Tribulation ( 7 years ) could start at any time.
I personally believe that God is taking peace from the world and the war will be Islam against anyone that isnt Islamic. They want a jihad and it looks like they can provoke it if they want. If Iran gets involved in this one, watch out..

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

It is told in the story of Isaac and Ishmael...

here is an exerpt from a study, giving verses from the Bible

Way back in history, this kind of awful divide, with violence, was prophesied in the Old Testament. Read Genesis 17, verse 19 onward... God said that He established His covenant with Isaac. He promised to make a great nation (the Arabs) for Ishmael. He is the ‘father’ of the Arab nations today. Both Ishmael and Isaac bore the same circumcision, yet Isaac was God’s man and the people he ‘fathered’ were the Israelites. But, it was foretold that the people of Ishmael would forever fight against the people of Isaac...Arab against Israelite and everyone else.

Ishmael was described by God – and that description can be applied to the Islamic extremists we see now...”he will be a wild man; his hand (will be) against every man, and every man’s hand against him...”

There is no specific reference to the current trouble but there is reference to Abraham's son Ishmael, his first born to his "bonds-woman" The Arabic nations are said to descend from here, since these are the children of Abraham as well as the Jewish line the dispute has some of its routes in the bible.

Zechariah 12: 3
On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her (Israel), I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

The actual problem in this Region if you go deep into the matter is Jerusalem.

That really depends on what you mean by reference...depending on how far removed from the Gospels you are you might say that these are the end of days, if you look at the Omega Code you might be able to link what it is saying with this.

My advice is to be wary of any prophecy that someone might show you

There is no specific reference to Lebanon. If you read bible properly and understand anti-christ,it seems some end to christanity has to hapen.Anti-christ may be anti christians.Except muslims no body is against christians.A fight is apparent between these two ,if anti-christ suceeds there is no christians left..But if anti christ fails there will not be Muslims left.Perhaps if you look into all powerful USA it seems end of Muslims is near.
