most scholars consider 'us' to be either God the Father, and God the Son (Jesus) or God and the angels.

Either way, - I don't think it matters too much.

BTW: So when the Bible says that God the Father - 'sent his son', and in Genesis or John (1 ?) says in the beginning the Word was with God and the Word was God, - all refer to the pre-existing eternal nature of "the Word" ie Jesus.

Angels are not to be worshiped and are not to be considered as God's.

But if you look carefully at Genesis 3, it is the Lord God that says "behold the man have become as one of us".... the Lord God is actually the Son, who did all the ground work and who is speaking to his Father, God Almighty.

It was a very good question..... and I hope you find all your answers. Peace.

God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and Holy Spirit. Just as you They are 3. You are Mine, Body and Spirit. The Latin word “triune” (tri = three, une = one) has been used to help communicate the nature of God. It reflects the fact that God has revealed himself as one God, but three persons. This triune nature of God is revealed throughout the Bible. In fact, God hints at this fact in the words of Genesis 1:26, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness."

God as "us" is referring to Himself and the Trinity--the Three in One. The Trinity. The crazy-mixed-up plurality of a single God.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This means that man now knows, good from evil, right from wrong and now must learn how when he does evil there is a price to pay.

He could be referring to all the citizens of Heaven (I.E.: the angels). Or he could be referring to himself (since God has three co-equal parts).

Maybe the Trinity. Maybe it included the angels.
