Puff, puff, give is the general rule i've used it in Mo, Ms, Ar,and La, so I don't think it differs by state. At least not in the south.

I wasn't aware there was an 'etiquette' to it. You just kind of go with it and make sure you have munchies.
And as the girl before me said its illegal almost everywhere with the exception of Amsterdam. So, announcing it on here is maybe not the best thing to do, just a thought.
