I have to go with the lottery. At least there is an astronomically small chance they might get something out of it. The other two will get you nothing but misery and an even emptier pocket.

I'd like to have a little more freedom to do things like cuss every once in awhile, tell a few lies or maybe oogle my neighbor's wife and stuff like that. I can easily afford it. I'm also looking for an opportunity to cheat on my taxes next year without feeling guilty. What do you think? Is 20% enough?

I caught my roommate several times while unknowingly watching me while am havin a shower though I'm hesitant to warn or caution him because I might be wrong on my thought that this person is GAY. Is it right to drive him out? Is he safe to share a room with? What's the best approach to tell him that I want to occupy another room?

I suppose there must be as I read about a headless rider so obviously his horse must have been a ghost too. What about other things that might be ghosts such as trains, etc - it is so weird. Any thoughts out there?

Okay, since I been informed about the possibility of cancer, I been 'freakin out' about the way I live. I dont know whether or not to turn into a ''health nut", trying to take all precautions necessary to add more time and health to my life, Or is it too stressful to live like that, and maybe I should just relax and believe that we all have a "time" and theres nothing we can do to add more time to our lives.
Do you really believe that you wont go before your time? Or that peoples live are actually cut short because of unhealthy decisions? I want to know if other people worrry that their decisions really affect their life spans, or are our number of days here already pre-set?

60's fan, even though I am only 25. Don't you think that a lot of music from that time period would fit our society today? For example:
'Turn,Turn, Turn'-by The Byrds
and 'Something in the air'-by Thunderclap Newman,
and of course who can forget 'Signs'-by Five Man Electrical Band?
If you have a good song, then add it to the list. Thanks.

"It's also important to note that life is exceedingly rare in the universe — even if it exists on every planet and moon. All we do know is that life exists on one oasis — Earth. Most of the universe is nearly empty, and almost all of the matter is in stars or nebulae. Any sort of life that we can imagine only has a chance on planets or moons. The universe was not designed for life; in practically the entire universe conditions are extremely hostile to life. Saying that the universe is made just for us is like a frog looking at his pond and thinking that the whole world was made just for him."

Again - Are we living on an oasis in a desolate universe?

What does this question mean for our way of life on this special planet?

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

I do not know much about Jedis.
I hope they not a cult.
They said it is the second largest religion in New Zealand and the fourth largest religion in England and Wales.
Are there any Jedis who can tell me about the religion?

I am astounded and also saddened at all the facetious questions put on this forum. It seems nine out of ten are only put to get a rise from someone, and not truly seek what is accurate. Lift your game, people.

I live in the poorer section of a very affluent area. When I meet fellow city dwellers they always ask "WHERE do you live?". I don't think its any of their business. Its similar to someone asking me how much I make. What's a witty comeback that will show them how petty they are?

These people think they got more than they really have. Most of them are house poor. It strikes me as a real nouveau riche attitude and I wouldn't like it any better if I lived in the most expensive house in the city.
