Come to Isan where I live. Feed the poor and old and sick and dying. You don't need a badge or a a boss, bring old computers for the schools, there are hungry, tiny kids here who have never seen a computer. Don't help the masses, help an individual, you will feel the rewards as they smile again. My 360 has nothing to do with how i help here, it only provides me with the finances to do so. I can get you a job teaching English in a village school a place where you will really make a difference. Don't talk, just do, I gave all my worldly goods to the poor and now i am poor, I give still. I never needed to be part of an organisation, I just got on with it.

I going to answer without a religious undertone because too many people presume you're religious.

1. Look around the Internet at groups you'd like to join. Maybe search for: 'Groups to help the environment' or any other type of group you're interested in.

2. Go to their website - have a look if they are involved in around where you live.

3. Grab their email and send them a letter saying that you'd like to help them out, organizations like this always need all the help they can get. I'm sure you'll get an email back detailing what to do next.

I hope that helped, and good luck in the future - and I hope you do some good work.

you might want to contact your local red cross and ask them.
I got calls for that all the time and what happens is Red cross will talk to you then or they will call you back. But that will be a great place to start. You tell them what it is you want and they will put you where you are most needed if you can take on that task.
God Bless & Good Luck.
P.S. I think its nice of you to be doing this as well...:0)

A couple of phone calls to the Charities such as The Red Cross will sort that out.

Look up the yellow pages for a listing.

A good place to start would be the Internet. Google "volunteering" and take it from there. I dud the same and came up with all kinds of interesting ideas both local and worldwide.

The good lord knows he could use more help!

Seriously, check out the greatest organization in the world. You can even apply online and they will find a local club somewhere in the world that will be happy to have you if you're serious.
