TCM - Oh so they don't want the elderly to be lonely, so they encourage them to gamble?

It is something that the people of that specific church uses for whatever mission they have going on. Whether it be the youth group mission to help build houses, or to supply food for numerous families throughout the year. Some churches use this money on many different missions. Some use it for money to help with other things that need to be done at the church but are not in the budget.There are many different uses that this money goes for.
Meanwhile it also provides companionship to a lot of elderly people that would otherwise be sitting at home feeling left out because they can no longer drive due to health or eye sight problems, so a lot of these churches will go and pick up the elderly for things like this, just like they will do for regular church services.

i have never personally seen a church offer either of those, but i would be leary of one that did gambling is not really a chritian thing to do, hopefully the one that do are using the money for charity missions ect. but if you see the paster driving a hummer id go to another church!

God doesn't do anything with it.The church uses it to hire defense lawyers for all of the unethical priests out there.

He saves up the money to bulk buy loads of dual action crotch warmers for the faithful.
