do you think you have really helped someone solve their problems or should we all mind our own business. is the web benifiting us all in some way or is it just completicating things? tell what you think?

I had reason to ask myself this question recently and I still dont know, but old cliches kept coming back to me.... A little information is a dangerous thing, or Ignorance is bliss etc

I think we have to take the good with the bad with technology. There are so many reasons why access to the internet is beneficial right down to basic emailing, so if I had to vote for or against I would definitely vote in favour.

It's a pain in the a** sometimes, no doubt about that. But the wealth of information that we can find on the web, plus the dicount shopping and the various ways to keep in touch with are frineds are worth it.

To some degree. There are all those privacy issues, of course, which add a whole new dimension to the problem.

Many years ago, a writer, Marshall Mcluhan wrote that the world would begin shrinking due to world media. It was years before the Internet.
I now communicate regularly with people all over the world in Answers and Open Diary.
I love it.

i think it's a good thing, and in relation to your question on serial killers, actually i'm studying a bit of criminal science and psychology....not for career purposes, but for some reason i have premonition that's it's somehow gonna be useful......?......didn't mean to be obstrusive.
