Yes.
Go to the doctor and tell him your symptoms and why you are mad and why you cope with it the way you do. You can either do talk therapy or med therapy or both - depending upon your needs. Then, start to ask yourself some difficult questions and ask what you want to do with your life. Unfortunately, I was denied meds for 11 years, but when I got on them I was able to focus and put my energy to better use (though I had still done so previously in school.) You have already taken step one, and it is well worth the effort to take the other steps as well. Best wishes.

Anything is possible, but not everything is probable. Just because you've come to realise that you've been a burden to everyone else doesn't automatically mean that everyone should ooh and ahh because you've decided to turn things around.
Actions speak louder than words! Prove that you're not all hot air and in time, the people you hurt may forgive you.

I have friends who have definitely turned it around - and they now have great lives and are really happy.. It's up to you. Society will more than likely forget your misdeeds.. Find a role model and try and duplicate what they have done with their lives.. You know, it usually takes a lot of effort to lead a life such as you were, though you were probably fooling nobody - put that same effort toward moving forward - life can be really cool - lots of great options out there.. good luck..

Wow, congrats on your realization and your willingness to act on it.
I think people will forgive you if you not only apologize but start living in a different way. You'll have to give them time, though. Think of it this way, when someone files for bankruptcy, they need to start building their credit from zero again. I think it's all a matter of time.

If I claimed that it was "I" who turned my life around I would be deceiving myself. I used to get drunk and use drugs and I ended up losing all of my possessions and sleeping in a park. That was the point I had to come to in my life before God could use me. He supernaturally arranged circumstances in my life that I now look back on to see were set up to lead me to faith and to service in the church I now attend. But first I had to come to Him with the sacrifice that He will not reject.
Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
This verse comes from a psalm written by David after he had commited sin and was trying to operate on his own. In the same way, until a person repents of their sins and surrenders their life to God, they will be without his life changing power and love and forgiveness.
Psalms 51:1-19 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! 3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.
Matthew 9:10 And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" 12 But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Thats unlikely.
However... if society did forgive you, it would be long after YOU have. Forgive youself- dont let anyone talk you into guilt and it may begin.
