No she cannot create which shows us that she is either a mere nothing or an extention of our imagination

Burning is something that can only happen to a physical body. God is a spirit. Spirit is not physical, so it can't feel pain or experience the burning of something it does not have, like a physical body.

This is why the hell fantasy is impossible. After we die the only thing that is left is the soul, or the spirit part of us. As I said previously spirit is nonphysical so it would have nothing to feel this imaginary pain with.

So much for the silly idea of a judgmental God.

God is not a supreme and I've never heard anyone suggest he is or ever was. The Supremes were Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson and Barbara Martin, the latter leaving shortly after their formation.

God is a network of natural laws at work in the cosmos; God IS the cosmos, the intelligent, non-judgmental source of all. God is in everything you see, in everyone you know. The cosmos can and does create fire, but God is not a being with feelings, so a question such as yours is meaningless.

God exist in another dimension without time and space.

There is no shape, no physical structure. Therefore fire cannot burn him.

Unless you are saying that the fire burns Jesus Christ's little finger, then yes, fire can burn God.

No because God cannot do things that are impossible by definition. God cannot create parallel lines that cross each other because then they wouldn't be parallel lines. He can't make a "square" circle because then it wouldn't be a circle. He cannot burn himself because then He wouldn't be the Almighty God of Heaven who does not change and that no force can harm. Does that make sense to you?

It is generally established that such questions must have logical consistency. Yours does not. So it isn't really relevant. Similarly, questions about rocks too heavy to lift or making round squares or triangles with 5 corners are also logically inconsistent. And more mature brains don't ask them anymore. Sophomore?

Interesting question. The Creator could probalby self-destroy if that is what One desired, but remember, suicide amongst humans is becuase they loose all hope, but the Great Spirit is hope.

Plus, if the Creator did self-destruct, the creation would go too so we wouldn't be around to know about it.

Why would God want to burn Himself?

2006-07-21 08:45:41 · answer #9 · answered by CRT 3 · 0 0

This and all the other "Can He" questions are bogus and foolish.

The proper question is Why would He want to? God does what He does from desire, NOT from necessity or the need for "proof" of something or other.

YOU should be taking your own advice.....ie, THINK!
