The other day I went into the city and their were 2 ladies promoting your religion by rapping and having music blurring out. Do you feel this is the right way to do it or is it degrading your religion? I'm not a Christian and found this really strange so was curious to know what you think.

I always call people Maam or Sir. I was taught growing up by my parents to always use these monikers when talking to someone. So I called the bank and was talking to a representative and at the end of the call I said thank you, Maam. She didn't reply. Anyways a friend of mine who works at the bank called me and said "You offended one of the employees by calling her Maam. You don't call someone younger than you "Maam"." Now I have never seen this woman, know how old she is, what she looks like, or whatever. I was being polite. Am I wrong? If I am I'll do my best to change this habit.

I have read that the Virgin Mary had children with Joseph after having Jesus. So she actually isn't a virgin and Jesus has either brothers or sisters. Then isn't there a possibility of someone being related to Jesus. Or am I just retarded ? : ]

To make a long story short, I am half Chinese and I'm trying to learn Chinese from my mother...I'm fairly young so I'm sure that will help, but most people say it's harder to learn a second language once past the age of 12. Is this true? Basic words I'm learning, but Chinese is a very complicated language, and I'm not even THINKING about trying to read or write it...anyone have tips on how to remember words/pronunciations easier? :D a little help from the teachers on here would be much appreciated.

Why would he made the universe infinite? Why life only on Earth? And if humans are made to image of their creator, why are we so limited to travel through space?

Soemtimes I wonder if eating the apple was a symbolic reference to us choosing this reality to exist in and the beggining of an ego. If we are part of god, we would have known much before this life and in order to unknow the knowldge, there would have had to been a moment where we chose to live in a space/time environment. Christ promised His protection to His Church saying that He would send His Spirit to guide her into all truth and that the gates of Hell would never prevail against her, even to the end of time.
What Church was it that Christ protected in the seventh century?
How about the fourteenth? The tenth? The third?
