Soemtimes I wonder if eating the apple was a symbolic reference to us choosing this reality to exist in and the beggining of an ego. If we are part of god, we would have known much before this life and in order to unknow the knowldge, there would have had to been a moment where we chose to live in a space/time environment. Question is, Anyone find truth in this and why?

Adam and Eve discovered they was naked after eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This is a question many theologians have pondered. My view is the tree of knowledge was sexual intercourse. Thus the woman suffering in child birth etc.

God create knowledge before he could distribute to humans. Its his own concept not ours. But he realise that if we will be smart enough we will take over. So he had to limit us in knowledge.
Therefore Knolwedge is ntohing more than limited sub-set of egoistic being. Devil has the knowledge that's why god keeps him away.

Your question though is from the standpoint of having partaken of the tree of knowledge of good AND evil. . .when the way out of this miserable, dualistic existence is to seek and find the tree of life!

THAT IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION. BUT I HAVE TO GO BACK TO WHEN GOD SAYS HE TOOK A PART OF HIMSELF AND BREATHE IT INTO US...SO WE DID HAVE KNOWLEDGE!!! WE JUST CHOOSE TO BE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN OUR CREATOR....
