Because the truth will prevail. I have no direct impact of the result of my answers but none the less I have given the message, whether someone accepts it or not is up to them. It is called missionary work and saving on gas at that!!!!!!!!!!

If something I write helps to bring someone to the truth, then the time invested is worthwhile. Many times an asker will post a question that is an obvious attempt to discredit the Mormons. Rather than allow more people to be deceived by their lies, I feel the urge to correct them and present the facts. Then all who read can decide for themselves what is truth and what is fiction.

I also find that when I research answers to challenging questions, it builds my knowledge and I feel better equipped to defend the church.

hehe... i do no longer continuously appreciate answering such questions yet they could be spoke back for the reason for reality. I certainly have a problematic time tolerating lack of understanding and misunderstandings yet extraordinarily outright lies. My arms basically could sort some thing! :o) i like those human beings plenty and that i'm hoping all of us know that. I do come accross a sprint harsh now and back nonetheless. Sorry 'bout that. So did Paul and Stephen nonetheless... besides, i might connect the club if it have been in accordance with solid techniques and not rivalry and hatred.

I use Yahoo! Answers about a variety of topics, not just religion. Nevertheless, I try to tell the truth when I answer religion questions. That involves sharing truths that I have learned as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After all, we're supposed to "stand as witnesses".

Because I think it is sad how ignorant and misleading answerers can be here, and I don't want them to perpetuate the long-standing half-truths and myths about the Mormon faith. I know I won't be able to change the minds of the Mormon haters, but maybe I can clarify the view of someone who genuinely wants to know what Mormons believe.

I come to offer help and answers just like you do. Rather than most who probably just pine through the entire thing of questions where you are more than likely to read something that is against your standards, I do searches on clean topics and do my best to help whomever I can. In turn I also ask clean questions and ask for clean answers. It is just like asking someone why they watch TV or using any other part of the internet. If you know exactly what you are looking for and know where to look, you don't have to face the problems of viewing questionable content.

I like to know what the current myths are about the religion. It's amazing how people seem to have nothing better to do than just make stuff about us. I sometimes feel I should not read some of the questions because they make me so mad, but I have seen legitimate questions from people who are curious and I am happy to answer their questions.

I come to help set people straight. The questions are ridiculous, but I like researching the answers, and giving people some truth.

Because of License. Yahoo Answers is for anyone who registers and can then respond to anything morons ask. It is amazing at the number of morons and of moron questions and comments on this Yahoo Answers. Perhaps your question centers on Free Agency.

Addenda: It is also interesting to know other's views, opposition is a leaning tool.

I think it is intersting to read what other people believe and maybe to share my testimony if I fell inclined.
There are some terrible questions and answers. But I have given my testimony several times, don't know if it's ever helped, but I enjoy sharing it.
