I have read that the Virgin Mary had children with Joseph after having Jesus. So she actually isn't a virgin and Jesus has either brothers or sisters. Then isn't there a possibility of someone being related to Jesus. Or am I just retarded ? : ]

She did have children according to the Bible, and even if she didn't it would still be possible to be related to Jesus via her other relatives.

You are not retarded...The Bible itself several times mentions Jesus’ “brothers” and “sisters.” (Matthew 12:46, 47; 13:55, 56; Mark 6:3; Luke 8:19, 20; John 2:12; 7:3, 5), so yes, it is possible to be related to Jesus through his siblings. However, because the birth records of all the Jews were destroyed in 70 CE when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans, it is very unlikely anyone could prove they were his nieces or nephews.

However, there are no decendants of Jesus.

The answer to this is yes,

The blood line of David would go on, although no one would be a direct descendant of Jesus, because he never married, or had children, but the family line did go on with Mary and Joseph. Not that this direct line had to be followed, for there were and still are many in the Line of David.

There are very detailed records kept from this time period, and Mary and Joseph would have taken their other children to the temple to be consecrated, although not as a first born, which was law to do with the first born, to give them to the service of GOD.

This fact will become very relevant in future years, as the Israelites (Jews) will not accept the anti-christ as Christ unless he is in the line of David. Hopefully, I will not witness those events as MY hope is of being caught up in the clouds prior to these events.

Just because Mary had other children after she had Jesus doesn't mean that she wasn't, at some point, a virgin. Jesus was Mary's first son. Mary didn't have sexual intercourse when she was impregnated with Jesus. Thus, when she had Jesus it was a virgin birth. I personally think thats a bunch of drivel, but thats just me.

However, I do think Jesus existed and he had brothers and sisters. So yes, it is quite possible that some of us are relatives of Jesus.

She was a virgin when she had Jesus. Jesus did have siblings due to Mary and Joseph having children later. SO it could be possible someone could be carnally related to one of those siblings by flesh.

NO> Mary had no other children. In the old times "brothers" meant relatives also. At the cross, Jesus handed John to take care of Mary....why not any of his "brothers" if he had any> something to think about>

In fact, if anyone on earth today is a relative of Jesus, chances are you are also a relative of Jesus. This is because every generation farther back in time you go, you double the number of ancestors. Eventually, the number of ancestors becomes larger than the population of the world and you can be sure there are a lot of crossed genealogical lines.

Yes, there is. She was a virgin for Jesus' birth, but you are correct in saying that she was not for the other brothers and sisters. It is possible that Jesus has relatives today, but they probably wouldn't know it and wouldn't be anything special.

If Mary and Joseph were good Jews, then they of course consemated their relationship and tried to have children. It is a good bet that Jesus did have siblings and someone could be related. Likewise, Jesus could have conceived his own children with someone. Yada, yada, yada....

Mary remained ever virgin. See http://www.catholic.com/library/mary_saints.asp

Some believe the "bretheren of the Lord" may have been children of Joseph's from a previous marriage. If they have descendants, then they would be step-kin to Jesus. See
