According to the Catholic Church, the true rule of faith is the combination of SACRED SCRIPTURE and SACRED TRADITION (the full truth as handed down by the apostles).

2 Thess 2:15 "Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours."

Christ promised His protection to His Church saying that He would send His Spirit to guide her into all truth and that the gates of Hell would never prevail against her, even to the end of time.

What Church was it that Christ protected in the seventh century?

How about the fourteenth? The tenth? The third?

The Catholic Church of course.Catholic quite simply means universal. IF you will note there are all races and nationalities in the Catholic Church. Can any other denomination of Christianity say that?Hopefully some can but around here it's not so. By the way the link doesn't work try this one.

The full truth is this.

The Apostles were taught the Torah, Jesus taught out of the Torah. The traditions that they followed were honoring of the Feasts that God Almighty had professed to be a Statute forever, throughout all your generations, and in all your dwellings. The feast of the New Moons, and Honoring the true Sabbath Day, which is Sunset Friday to Sunset Saturday. Leviticus 23.
Not the pagan days of christmas, and easter, and all saints day, and all the other saints days.
The Catholic churches, does not honor the correct Sabbath, although, before God opened my eyes to the truth about Catholicism, they did start holding mass on Saturday evening also.

I was raised catholic, I am not guessing at any of this. Mary the Mother of Jesus, was a wonderful and blessed woman, there is no doubt, but worship of her is a sin! I spent 8 years in catholic schools, so I know this is a truth about Catholicism.

What is the church, is it a building with a name attached to it? No the Church, can be someones home that is open to people to come in and worship God the Father and God the Son, in spirit and in truth. The church is not a building, but a body of True worshipers of God Almighty and Jesus Christ. That is the true church.

You miss the point, jesus stops by every day before lunch. He checks morning news and sees less and less ppl beliveing nonsence. So he is telling those few who left that he will protect them because our childrens need to learn history. If we did not had dinasaurs it would be hard to belive it in dinasuars. If we did not had church or Christians it would be hard in few decades to belive that such evil thing ever existed. SO when Christ protects them it means preserve them for future history so we know such thing existed.

Interesting! I read that through out history it was the Catholic church that persecuted the true believing church in Jesus Christ.

Have you ever heard of the Inquisition or have you ever heard of or read the Fox's Book of Martyr's. Start in Ch. 4 and read through the Book, maybe you will open your eyes.

Also where in the Bible does it even say Catholic, or mentions anything about Nuns or Pope!

Also what is it this thing about priest not being able to marry. No wonder they burn with lust after women and end up molesting the little children.

1 Timothy 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

1Corinthians 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Aah! I know where it mentions the Catholic false church. Go look in your Catholic Encyclipedia and look up Vatican City and it perfectly describes this Scripture!

Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (the woman in the bible always represents a religion or in this case a whore or prostitute represents a false religion AKA the Catholic church.) Believe IT!

Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city (Vatican City), which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

God Almighty will destroy th Catholic church read revalations Ch.18 and he also calls you to come out of her because God (Jesus Christ) hates religion and wants to have a relationship with you will you hear His voice today!

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

God's church is in his body of believers, not some church building. Read your bible. :-) God Bless.
