At least atheist know what they believe. There are so many people calling themselves Christians who are not sure what the religion really is or only follow half or very little of the teachings. I respect atheist and Christian fundamentalist alike. If you are going to believe in something, believe in it all the way.

WHAT IF:

Jesus already came back (quietly). . .say five years ago, and your devotion wasn't sufficient and you were "left behind" without even knowing it. . .until just now?

I'm saying "what if". . .so don't tell me "it didn't happen". . .because I don't think it did happen. . .but what if??

I mean, what's left for us to do then?

It seems sort of selfish to make demands on mothers and on the system and not do you part in adopting children. Especially those who are not easily adopted - older kids, minorites, and kids with disabilities. After all, isn't that something Christ would do?

Is it because they are going by what paul said in the Bible? If so, then women shouldn't cut their hair or wear pants either. I believe that things like that just pertained to those times and that times changes. Why would they stop someone from from full filling their full potential in serving Christ?

By the way, this question is not hostile....just curious

I'm just curious about how many of you out there have had relationships that all started on the net.

I've found that it's not easy in this society to meet other gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered folks, and I've had my fair share of relationships that got their start online, so I wondered if this were the case for a lot of you out there.

I'm currently in a relationship with someone I met the first week of college 11 years ago, so this one didn't get its start online, but I've had 4 or 5 that did.

Feel free to share your stories! As always, thank you for those of you with sincere responses. To anyone else, feel free to leave your rude comments and they will be disregarded here just like they are when you leave them on other peoples' questions.

First, let me say that I am a Christian. I picked up one of Sylvia's books in the library. I was skeptical but interested. When I read her book The Other Side and Back it really intrigued me, especially the information about Christian reincarnation and the books in the Bible that were banned on the subject by the council of Constantinople in 543 A.D. Sylvia talks about her spirit guide and what she has revealed to her about Heaven and that there are things that the spirit guide is not allowed to reveal at all. What are your thoughts on psychics? Are you familiar with Sylvia Browne?

I'm not religious, but I celebrate Christian holidays with my family. When I was very small, my Grampy told me about the Easter Frog, who helped the Easter Bunny colour eggs and deliver candy.

But every time I mention the Easter Frog, everyone looks at me like I've just turned into a platypus. Real or not, the Easter Frog should be known to little children everywhere!

I have read alot of people's answers on here and it is sad..Do you want your life to be better? I beg of everyone who hasn't done it yet ...pray this simple prayer...Lord, i know I am a sinner, and I believe that you sent your Son to die for humankind that we may have an opportunity to live forever. I repent of my sins and invite you into my life... Just ask sincerly and it will be given it is the most important decision you will ever make. We are only on this earth a short time compared to eternity. He loves everyone, no matter where you come from and He wants everyone to be saved. Please think about this..very seriously.

I need a hedge for the side of my house that faces our neighbors. They have a wire fence around their house and they have covered it with "no trespassing" signs facing all directions. They are not friendly and think everyone is out to get them. There are so many of these signs that it is very ugly to look at. They also have half a dozen cars parked on their front lawn on any given day. Financially right now a wood fence is out of the question for us, but I was thinking of planting a hedge. Any ideas?

How do Christians expect non believers to take them seriously when their are so many branches of it. I mean Lutheran, Babtist, Presbyterian, Catholics, and so many others I cannot name. Why not agree on the differences, band together, and really do some good for the world? This is why I have my own doubts about being a believer. Why believe in something that doesn't believe in itself. Somebody educate me please.

P.S. I respect peoples beliefs and would never try to change or argue with what someone believes, but I just want someone who is more educated on the subject than me to answer this. Thank you.

Please say something more insightfully then, God works in mysterious ways, or, humans can't possibly understand the will of God
