WHAT IF:

Jesus already came back (quietly). . .say five years ago, and your devotion wasn't sufficient and you were "left behind" without even knowing it. . .until just now?

I'm saying "what if". . .so don't tell me "it didn't happen". . .because I don't think it did happen. . .but what if??

I mean, what's left for us to do then?

hypothetically speaking...
there is not too much to do other than pray to God and believe that since you are not in hell that maybe there is a second chance of some kind...keep on keeping on

There would be a large amount of people still left in the populations. Born again Christianity is not the largest denomination in the world. Hindus is. I would assume that for most people, it would be emotionally devastating for them. Throughout the ages, alot of messianic groups were absolutely certain that they were going to be picked up and taken to heaven. Imagine their disappointments. I'd assume that it'd be the same in the future.Good question, but it leaves out too many people.

Here's what I just wrote to someone five minutes ago...and my answer to them applies to your question:

He is already here...He has never left us...and can be seen by anyone who wants to see Him...through your heart and your soul...and He is my best friend, and I get to talk to Him all the time...and He answers me in wondrous, beautiful ways.

He is real and not a figment of your imagination. Prayer is just talkin' and a pouring out of your soul to someone who will never let you down, will always be there for you, and understands you completely. He is here even if you don't feel it or believe it...and He doesn't like the sin; but He loves the sinner.

He understands things we don't...so we are in good hands...and you have to trust Him to lead you in the directions you need to go. He only wanted us to know about our Heavenly Father...and He did a real good job of it because His messages to us have survived for over two thousand years.

And sometimes He needs help, so He permitted a Mohammad, and a Jehovah, and maybe even a Buddha, etc. to help him get the Word out better...and He doesn't care if you believe in Him...because He believes in you.

If a bull-frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his butt every time he jumped.
