Not it is probably not just a sin; it would likely be a double mortal sin, i.e., murder of the baby and suicide. I doubt if you would survive an event like that nor would the baby. However, if you both happened to survive and go on living a normal life, undamaged by the experience, then perhaps it could be argued that it was not a sin at all. But I wouldn't try that again and again just to test the theory. Because eventually you would really find out the truth!

If the baby dies, then it's called murder. That sounds like a sin to me.
